A teen in crisis doesn't always look the way one may think. Sometimes a teen that is struggling with anxiety doesn't seem like they're anxious, but can't seem to get a good grade on a test no matter how hard they study. Or a teen that has severe depression isn't sleeping all day, but instead is withdrawing from their extracurricular activities because 'it's just too hard.'.
Generally speaking, family is a place that everyone can relate to. You hope that it is a placethat everyone loves and cares for you, but oftentimes it is also a place of dysfunction, pain, heartache, unresolved issues and trauma. I help families heal from that pain. In Family Counseling we address all aspects of your family.
