My name is Rebecca, but I also go by Becca or Becky and I really don't have a preference, I like them all! Guilty pleasure: Reality TV. The Bachelor comes on and I'm on my couch with a glass of wine and my cellphone in hand so I can text my friends about it. I'm super laid-back. If you had to ask someone to describe my personality with only one word, that's probably the word they would use.
When a parent hires me to photograph their family, they're not only looking for a pretty photo. They want photographs that show real feelings, how much fun their family has together, and maybe a bit of the beautiful PNW landscape thrown in there. Families get to play, laugh, and have a fun adventure during their photo sessions with me, but I will also catch the sweet, softer, in-between moments that you always wished someone was able to capture.
Newborn lifestyle photography sessions are a relaxed way to capture your family with your new baby. They can take place in your home in the Portland area or outdoors at sunset or sunrise.
I can photograph baby in the nursery you worked so hard on, your older kids loving on their new sibling, your dog cuddling up to the family while you all snuggle on the couch or a blanket, the kids dancing around while you stare into your sweet baby's eyes, and all the other special moments that go along with having a new baby.

If I could give 6, 7, 8 or more stars I would!! Rebecca is wonderful to work with and the images she captures are priceless and timeless. As a photographer myself, I am extremely picky when it comes to family photos. I have never been happier working with anyone else! I found Rebecca's website online while searching for a family photographer and fell in love with her pictures and style. It was exactly what i was looking for. We had family pictures done before and they didn't turn out great and seemed forced and not natural at all. We used Becca for maternity and newborn photo sessions for our recent addition to our family. I had seen her photos online and loved them. I loved how candid the photos were and not staged. We are thrilled with our photos from a family photo shoot in Lake Oswego. We were anxious as some of our prior family photo sessions had been staged and felt forced. The session with Becca was fun and light hearted and our kids had a blast "playing" with their new friend! Becca is professional, and very responsive - particularly quick to respond to questions about wardrobe and our concern about rain interfering with our session. Becca is the absolute best! She has taken photos of my family for the last couple years and she always captures the magical moments.
