I live downtown in Salt Lake City and my home is full of plants. When I'm not connecting with people through photography, I probably am: with my family, outside exploring, making art, or dancing in the kitchen. I received a BA Bachelor of Art in Photography and a MATFA Master Arts Teaching Fine Art.
The emphasis of my studies is photography as a tool for social change and well-being. I am currently teaching mindful photography courses and workshops, and am passionate about the connection of creativity and mindfulness. Danielle is such a genuine, warm, kind and fun person. Danielle took our engagement and wedding photos, and was everything we could have hoped for and more! The photos were obviously gorgeous (see attached!) and matched the style that drew us to her, but she was also responsive, thoughtful, and so enjoyable to be around. The whole wedding planning process is just undeniably, inherently stressful, so any little spots of help and positive energy go a long way. Danielle was so much more than that. Danielle shot our amazing elopement wedding shots in Colorado. We were a bit clueless about lighting, but she was so prepared before we even left for photos. She is a really bright and fun person to be around. She was also so great with our dog that tagged along on our shoot. I also got some new professional headshots done by her because I loved our wedding photos. My husband and I highly recommend her for her amazing eye for natural lighting and colors, and for her easy-going personality.

Danielle is great! She's very responsive and helpful and was great to be around on the wedding day. We did an extra shoot at sunrise the day prior and she was awesome in helping us coordinate it. And the pictures are fantastic! She gave us a really good mix of posed and candid so we ended up with so many great shots. I'm thrilled with our experience with Danielle and can't recommend her enough!

Danielle is such a genuine, warm, lovely, kind and fun person. More adjectives could be used, but you get the gist. If you're someone who wants candid photos that capture the feeling of the day, and all the small moments that pass... she's the one for you. In addition to being able to capture those moments, she's technically very skillful and will capture beautiful shots. Beyond all of that though, she has such a lovely presence and will put you at ease and just kind of floats through your day capturing everything. She won't give you a lot of direction (unless you want that), but that's what allows

My husband and I hired Danielle to do our engagements, bridals, and wedding photos and we couldn't be happier! As someone who HATES having their picture taken, I was surprised at how comfortable I felt with Danielle behind the camera. I think our photos show our personalities/looks so well without any of the awkward cliche posing that makes me roll my eyes at other people's wedding photos. She did a great job of capturing the vintage eclectic vibe of our wedding and the beautiful snowy backdrop of our bridals. She was super helpful for the obligatory temple pictures and helped move family and friends
