People have many different reasons for coming to psychotherapy. Some may be seeking to learn more about themselves or to become more effective in achieving their life goals. Others may be going through a life transition such as unemployment, divorce, loss of a loved one, or a new job.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a highly effective treatment for trauma/PTSD and moving past difficult life experiences in general. When we experience trauma or difficult life events which exceed our capacity to process and make sense of them, we can begin to experience certain problematic symptoms which interfere with daily functioning and quality of life.

As a registered service provider for the Nebraska criminal justice system, I am also able to offer level 1 outpatient substance abuse treatment which satisfies the needs/requirements of the court.
