I'm Erica, the photographer at Puddles and Pearls! I am a Colorado Springs based newborn and family photographer. My ultimate goal as an artist is to help you create beautiful, timeless artwork that you will be proud to display in your home. I strongly believe in building as many memories as we can and documenting life as we go.
Let's talk end goals and start planning! Starting with the end goal allows us to tailor our work to perfectly fit your family. A consultation allows us get a feel for your family's style and gives us the opportunity to answer all of your questions. Together we'll decide what final results we're shooting for and what we need to plan for in order to achieve that goal.
5. your in-person ordering appointment to help you select the images that will work best for your needs. About 1-2 weeks after your session, you will return to the studio for your in-person viewing and ordering appointment. We project your images in a slideshow on our color calibrated TV screen. It's a lot of fun and is the highlight of your experience with us!
All of our clients go home with digital files from their session, but what PRINTED artwork are we going to create for you? Printing your portraits is so important! In this digital age, we are taking far more photos than ever, but how many of those photos are printed? Digital documents are not archival and will eventually deteriorate, causing those images to be lost forever.

Amazing business! As soon as I sent my inquiry in about having pictures done, I was contacted and sent information packets about the packages, options, etc. immediately. The photo session was great, the photos turned out beautifully, and the prints are wonderful! Eve thing was handled professionally through the entire process. Absolutely loved coming to puddles and pearls to get newborn photos done. She was able to get me in super quick as my son was born earlier then expected and my husband deploying I was able to get photos done with him as well. She also gave great suggestions for outfits as well as took into account everything we wanted and customized our session. I also liked how they can customize your order to fit your budget. Defiantly would recommend and continue using puddles and pearls for future photos.

We recently did a newborn/family session with puddles & pearls and couldn’t recommend them enough. Erica was so patient with our 1 year old who had a bit of a meltdown and didn’t want to cooperate (she even managed to get a few good pictures of him which was a huge plus). We are obsessed with the pictures of our newborn and couldn’t thank Erica enough for capturing all her tiny little features so beautifully. Amber was great to work with and was so helpful in answering all our questions and helping us pick out the best pictures. Thanks again!

Our experience with Puddles and Pearls Photography has been incredible! Erica was amazing with our family session and newborn session. She captured our four daughters personalities and family perfectly as we welcomed our new baby girl. She put us right at ease and handled our newborn amazingly. The studio and Photo props are beautiful. The entire experience has been wonderful and professional. I highly recommended them and am so glad to have found such a wonderful and talented photographer and team to work with to capture our family memories in the future!

I cannot share enough amazing things about Puddles & Pearls Photography. We had newborn photographs taken at two weeks old and I was a bit nervous to have these photographs done. Not everyone knows how to safely pick up and care for a baby. Erica was absolutely amazing. In 5 minutes of interacting with our little girl, my husband and I felt so comfortable. Not only is Erica so incredibly talented, she is so amazing with little ones. She knows exactly what to do to calm, relax, and provide an incredible experience. Our photographs will be something we treasure for a lifetime.

I recently hired Puddles & Pearl's for my twins first year photos. I spoke with several photographers before making my decision and boy did I make an amazing choice! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Erica. She was so prompt to answer any questions I had (which there were a LOT of) and she was always so friendly.
