Dr. Andrew Himm grew up in Livonia, Michigan and attended Schoolcraft College, Eastern Michigan University and earned his Dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2007. He is a third generation dentist. Following in the footsteps of his Grandfather Dr. Paul Watson and his father Dr. William Himm his inspiration and interest for dentistry started at a young age.

To ensure that you maintain great oral health, this level of quality needs to extend into your personal oral hygiene routine. We can help you establish a dental hygiene routine that will keep your teeth healthy and white.
Dental implants are a permanent and appealing solution to replace missing or extracted teeth. They are better than other alternatives like bridges because no additional teeth need to be altered to place the new tooth. The entire implant process is performed over the course of a few months. The first part of the process is to install the implant itself, where a screw is placed into the jaw bone.
Mini dental implants are about half the size in diameter of a regular dental implant. This offers many benefits, and they can also be used in situations where regular implants cannot. If an implant needs to be placed in a narrow space, mini implants are the preferred method because of their smaller size.

I would have them run your insurance before you go. I called and they said they were in network. They were also listed in network on our insurance website. Turns out it is only in network with Dr William Himm not Andrew Himm but they just tell you that you are seeing Dr Himm. Then they billed us and we got stuck with nearly $400 for preventative care because they didn't accept the insurance. Just seems a little deceitful to me :/

Hands down the best dentist out there! I hate, and I repeat HATE the dentist but coming to Birch Run family dental has a different appeal than most dentist office, super professional && makes you feel like you are apart of the family! The dental hygiene department is bomb, made my teeth super smooth and clean! I'd recommend it to anyone looking in the area! Or heck drive an hour; I did!!!

I highly recommend Birch Run Family Dental! The entire staff is outstanding! I was nervous to switch from the dentist I have been going to since a child but it was a great decision. The Doctors gave new ideas to improve the look of my teeth. The dental hygienist are very caring and easy going! Check it out!

Can't say enough about my amazing experience at Birch Run Family Dental. Dr. Andrew Himm is amazing- courteous, professional, and takes the time to explain treatment options. Really, all of the staff are great/friendly/professional. And the facility is super clean (which says a lot about their attention to detail). I definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for dental care.

I was also pleasantly surprised when I got the bill and they cost less than my previous Dentist too. Great office, space and staff! Dr. Himm is an exceptional dentist, very knowledgeable, courteous and he takes time to listen and answer any questions or concerns. I always feel confident in his decisions on procedures and the work he has done on me has gone smooth with great results. Furthermore, it is easy to schedule urgent appointments and the time in the waiting room is never too long. Highly recommended!!
