Your first appointment will be a breeze. Call our office, or we'll call you to schedule an appointment, fill out a few forms, grab directions and relax. We want your family's experience to be a wonderful one, starting with your child's first visit. For children 6 months to 18 years old, get a $99 Cleaning, Exam, X-Ray and Fluoride.*
Often, children do not understand the effects of local anesthesia. They may chew, scratch, suck, or play with the lip, tongue, or cheek because it is numb. These actions may cause minor irritations or they may be severe enough to cause swelling and abrasions to the tissue. Please monitor your child closely for approximately two to three hours following the appointment.
Did you know that tooth decay is the number one preventable disease? Prevention begins with good dental habits, the right diet and regular visits to the dentist at a very early age. Here at Hercules Kids Dentistry, our goal is to help you and your infant establish good dental habits and reduce the risk of cavities early on.
Each individual's dental needs are different. Our team will start with a Cavities Risk Assessment to see if your child's teeth have or show signs of cavities. We will also go over oral hygiene instruction and guidance regarding diet, nutrition and oral habits. Fluoride helps prevent tooth decay when used routinely in small amounts.
We have filling materials that are BPA free and Mercury free. Depending on the size of the filling, we may numb the area using local anesthesia and place a rubber dam i.e. Large cavities can result in toothaches and pulp irritation or, in some cases, infection of the nerve.
If a cavity has affected the nerve, we will clean out the infected part of the nerve, place an antibacterial agent on the remaining nerve structure, and place a protective filling over the nerve.Crowns are used in cases where a cavity has affected so much tooth structure that the tooth is susceptible to fracture and a filling material alone cannot be used to repair the tooth.

Very clean and strong Covid-19 protocol. Distancing, mask wearing, sanitizer and frequent cleaning. Spaced out appointments and minimum occupancy. I appreciate the commitment to be safe with my kids. I was concerned that I would be shamed for waiting so long to have my daughter's teeth cleaned but they were very kind and I did not feel shamed or judged at all. They made me and my kid feel super comfortable and welcome. We, fortunately, didn't have any cavities and so can't speak to how that goes but the initial exam and cleaning was so gentle and friendly that my daughter sat up and said "that was fun!" Thank you HKD for making the dentist something we will look forward to not dread!

All staff were warm and friendly, and the dentist and his assistant were kind, understanding and thorough to both my 2.5yo son and I. They made us feel comfortable, and reassured me that my son’s stressful and tearful reaction was normal for 1st-timers. They spoke loudly for me to understand them over my son’s unnecessary crying (lol), and gave specific comments and advice about his dental routine. The office was a bright and happy place with rewards at every turn.

Cute little place. I honestly thought my son wasn’t even going to open his mouth so I was somewhat dreading this visit as it was his first, but I was pleasantly surprised. He did great! I acknowledge that it wasn’t all because he’s so well behaved, but that the dental assistant that did his cleaning was amazing. Her name is Jessica and she was sweet and patient and based on my experience with her I can say she has a beautiful way of working with children. She made him feel comfortable and he was able to put all his little trust on her.

My son has been going there since he was 2 years old and now he is turning 4. He was very scared the first time he went but everyone at the office made him feel welcomed. They take there time and make sure that going to the dentist is not scary. Dr Bala made my son feel like he was his friend and makes sure he is comfortable. My daughter is 2.5yo. Between being a first time mom and the pandemic hitting we were delayed on getting her to a dentist. Today was her first ever experience with a dentist and we decided to go with Hercules Kids Dentistry based on raving Yelp reviews. We came in contact with four different staff members and all were warm, welcoming and did their best to make my daughter comfortable. She was anxious when she met one of the dental assistants (Jessie) but she took her time and knew how to make my daughter warm up. They were the nicest/friendliest people I have ever taken my kids too. They made sure my daughter was very comfortable and they encouraged her the whole time. They were just so friendly I was so pleasantly surprised. Our last experience with another dentist wasn’t very nice so this was the best experience I’ve had as a parent forsure. The office was very clean and very welcoming as well. It was just a great experience even though my daughter had to get some serious work done and be pretty uncomfortable for it.

Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars to this place but if there were 10 I would give it 10. Starting form the front desk all the way to the back they are amazing. I’ve been bringing my kids here for years and I am very pleased with everyone and everything. The doctors are amazing, professional and kind. I have been taking my 3 boys to hercules kids dentistry for a little over a year now. Their ages are 9 years, 7 years and 4 years old. One of my children has special needs. This office is amazing. Hercules Kids Dentistry is the best pediatric dental office! Both the doctors are very thorough, patient and amazing with kids! My daughter has had to get a couple of fillings and they have ensured that her experience is positive and successful, working within the pace for her age and maturity. Professional and friendly staff.We had to go during covid, so they didn't get to enjoy everything in the waiting room like I saw in photos.There was a movie playing and children chairs.The dental assistant and the dentist were especially friendly, helpful, and professional.The dentist was very reassuring and did his best to make it a nice experience for my son and daughter.For my son he was super nice and even sang a song(my son continued to cry but it was his first dentist visit and literally doesn't like people except mom haha).He let my daughter use the tools and she had so much fun

If I could leave zero stars I would. Dr. Bala is extremely unprofessional and rude. If you don't want X-rays every 6 months on your 4/5 year old child then he will refuse to clean your childrens teeth or keep them as a patient. There are more options than just X-rays and fluoride. I understand there are liabilities and Dentists have to protect themselves. However, my only job is to protect my children. Dr. Bala was extremely rude to my Husband and three kids. He was unprofessional and has no right to treat anyone the way he treated my family. The right thing to do would be to speak kindly

It was my toddler's first dental visit. I booked an appointment and got a schedule that worked. When we came in, we had to wait a little bit because they were running behind (which was okay with me). The staff are all friendly and they have a lot of toys and little distractions for the kids to play with.

The dentists here are absolutely great as well as the staff. My daughter has had a pretty bad experience with her previous dentist in American Canyon along with the dental work which led to an even bigger problem but Hercules Kids Dentistry helped my daughter tremendously. Both dentists are very knowledgeable and explains the root of the problem while giving me the comfort of the different options I can take to make my daughter feel as comfortable as possible since she was traumatized from her previous experience. Absolutely LOOOOOVE this office! As soon as you enter, you feel it's warm, inviting, friendly--- all the fun stuff you would want for a place to take your kids to. Both Dr. Bala and Dr. Bhullar are awesome! Dr. Bala is our primary dentist but his sister Dr. Bhullar has taken care of us when he wasn't available and she was just as great! I was referred here by a friend and I am extremely pleased by the service received! The customer service over the phone from questions to scheduling to walking in the door is very warming.
