Services
Digital radiography uses an estimated 40-90 percent less radiation than conventional film x-rays. Digital x-rays use a digital image capture device in place of traditional film, sending an image immediately to a computer. The result is a highly-detailed image of the mouth, and its contrast and resolution can be enhanced to more easily diagnose dental problems and determine the very best treatment for each case.
A dental cleaning is a professional cleaning you receive from Dr. Sanford or dental hygienist. Most dental cleanings take only 25 to 30 minutes. Cleanings should be performed every six months to prevent excessive plaque buildup. Plaque left untreated can lead to unhealthy gums and tooth decay. At the Smile Gallery of Greensboro, Macey our dental hygienist uses a Cavitron to provide a more thorough dental cleaning.
Chips, gaps, and cracks in teeth can leave you feeling self conscious. Dr. Sanford can quickly fix those with dental bonding, which is a resin material typically used for fillings. The color of the material will be matched to that of your natural teeth. Dr. Sanford will apply the resin, mold it to the correct shape, and harden it to the tooth using a high-intensity light.
Some teeth have fine grooves or pits that accumulate plaque, not because the person doesn't brush, but because the grooves are too narrow to allow even one bristle into them. When plaque accumulates, it can lead to cavities and other types of tooth decay. To apply sealants, a plastic material is brushed onto the tooth, filling these narrow grooves and preventing the cavity-causing buildup.

I first took my mom to Smile Gallery because of location. However the price package and friendly staff convinced both myself and husband to join a plan. We have been patients for 3 years or more, and while my mom passed and we live in High Point, in other words, location is no convenient when other similar offices are in High Point, we remain patients. Now for the Dentist, top notch, was patient with my mom and always responsive and thorough in explanations regarding care. Please consider when looking for a Dentist Family.

I love this dental office! I’m so glad I found it! The receptionist is super nice and accommodating. The hygienists are friendly and caring. Dr Sanford and her assistant make you feel relaxed and I am nervous about going anyway. The office is super clean and beautiful. I commented on the paintings and learned that they were hand painted by Dr. Sanfords mother! It has a real family feel! I don’t dread dental visits any longer.

New to the area. Thought I found a great dentist for myself and my family. Called the Smile Gallery and asked if they participated in my dental insurance and they told me yes. Gave them my insurance information. Never once did they say they were out of network. Went in for my appointment in October. Everything went great. Never told me I had a balance due. Daughter's appointment was the next day. Everything went great. Never said anything about a balance due.
Fast forward a month and a half later, December 1st my son is home from college and is at the dental office waiting to be seen for his appointment

My complaint is about billing and payments. I had major work done on my son that cost close to $900 that the insurance would not cover. I paid 30% at the time of the service. I made an appointment for dental work as well and my insurance coverage was gone for the year. I had every intention of paying 50% of the bill due when I went in for my appointment. I was told I had to pay the full balance or they wouldn't pull my tooth and they cancelled my appointment 3 days before I was scheduled to go in. I have never had a dentist deny me service when I am actively paying on a bill. I guess my timing

The smile gallery is awesome. The staff very thoughtfully agreed to meet me early for an appointment so I could make a meeting. They are super friendly; gentle, but thorough; and very professional. If you don't have a dentist or are looking to change, please give them a chance! You'll be happy you did.

The cleaning was fine. Staff was professional and cleaning was quick. However, the bad is everything that happens outside of the exam room. They send junk email with no unsubscribe option. And they will call 6 months after telling you that you owe money, and that they have been sending bills. This happened to me both times I used them. I paid my deductible when I visited, and then months later they came looking for money. Not worth the hassle.

The Smile Gallery has been so wonderful with my 5 year old daughter. She is very anxious and nervous about the dentist but everyone there has been so kind and made her feel so calm and comfortable that she says she loves her dentist now! That means a lot to me especially since so called pediatric dentists I've taken her to have not been so kind. Thank you Dr. Sanford!

The availability is great, and I've never walked in to a delayed appointment time. The entire staff is outstandingly punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The attention to detail shows in a cleanliness of the office as well as the diversity among the staff. WARNING: The music selection may make it hard for you to not want to show-off your dance moves while in the chair! I am very grateful of Dr. Sanford and her staff, and very much recommend you making The Smile Gallery your home for your dental needs!
