Our holistic approach to chiropractic treatment uses a variety of strategies and techniques to address your overall health and wellness. Many of these services can be scheduled separate from an adjustment appointment. While most people are generally familiar with chiropractic spinal manipulation, we also take advantage of complementary approaches to tailor your treatment to your specific needs.

Please let us know which services you would like to try at the time you schedule your appointment. Dr. Kathleen Inman approaches your health from a holistic standpoint. She combines chiropractic adjustments, nutritional counseling, and functional medicine to obtain the best results. She will develop a manageable plan to help you meet your health goals.
Services
A chiropractor focuses on aligning your spine to improve communication between your central nervous system and the rest of your body. Many chiropractors apply direct, manual pressure to joints to achieve this alignment. In addition to manual adjusting, Dr. Inman can also use a gentle low-force device called an adjuster to perform chiropractic adjustments when it is appropriate.
From the dash in a morning coffee to the after-dinner dessert, sugar is a consistent companion throughout the day. Sugar, the sweet-tasting food additive, is a contentious substance despite being widely available and necessary for our survival. In more formal terms, sugar is a subset of molecules known as carbohydrates.
Antioxidants are simply a group of molecules that contain an extra electron. This extra electron can be "given" to another molecule, but unlike free radicals the molecule remains stable after the electron is removed. This electron removal process is called oxidation. After an antioxidant gives up its electron, further oxidation, by the free radical which receives the electron, stops.
The specific part of the grain which contains gluten is called the endosperm. The endosperm is similar to the yolk of a chicken egg. The endosperm provides nutrients to the seed embryo during development, just like the yolk does for a chicken. To take it a bit deeper, gluten is composed of two of the four proteins found in the endosperm: gliadins and glutenins (the other two are albumins and globulins).
From a nutritional perspective, protein is one of the three macronutrients found in our diets. The other two macronutrients are fats and carbohydrates. Carbohydrates and proteins equate to four calories per gram, while fats are more than twice as energy dense with nine calories per gram. Nutrition labels list protein amounts per serving, but this information is somewhat limited.

I am amazed (again) at how much better I feel after my appointment. I have been battling the flu for five days and have had so much pain I could not sit or lay comfortably. It’s been 5 hours since I saw Dr. Inman, and I just realized I have no pain. No Pain and No Prescription! Thank you, Dr Inman, for your welcoming spirit and excellent care.

I was a patient of Dr. Inman when her first Columbus, IN practice opened and was thrilled to know she was returning and would be on Franklin Street. I've had a variety of back issues and been seen by a few chiropractors before. Dr. Inman has, by far, made me feel the most comfortable and that my body was getting the proper adjustments to function correctly. She can explain to you the hows and whys - but I can attest that her methods are solid and she gives thoughtful and knowledgeable care for my back.
