I got charged a 111.37 from this company that I did NOT authorize, the Person who is insured by them I use to know closely but no longer have contact with them, when I informed them of the situation they said they can’t refund me till the INSURED got into contact with them?!?! EXCUSE ME. What does that have to do with me, and my money. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

An agent by the name of Corey is A scammer. There are some agents who are professional and have integrity. Corey is not one of them. He sent me paperwork to sign with a lot of blanks that he could fill in later. He would not send me written confirmation of monthly charges. He just kept insisting I sign it. There was also a lot of discrepancies on the form basically asking me to sign off on people that was not in my household. He kept insisting I sign it. I decided to go with anither insurance company instsad. When I told Corey he kept questioning my decision. He was very unprofessional. Reading

Yeah I’m sure you get what you pay for for but honestly all insurance companies are pretty slimy so might as well go with an affordable one. Plus she was very nice and answered all of my questions. I called (909) 931-7172 to obtain an auto quote. Ali Aviles answered but was incapable to give quotes. She transferred call to Miguel, who refused to disclose his last name as an agent and then transferred to his supervisor Brandon, who also refused to disclose his last name as an agent. Brandon was competent, defensive for Muguel and barked at me like a mad dog. I agreed with the previous reviewers to rate 1-STAR to Sumner Insurance for its hostile, hateful, and despicable business operations. They are haters like Virus COVID19. STRONGLY NOT

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I only gave 1 star cuz i had to. But if i had a choice it would be ZERO STAR. There's an employee named Tommy. He will take ur money and only give u insurance for 1 month. And he even added someone on my policy without my signature or consent. And when I tried to call him to see what was going on, he ignored all my calls and only answered my daughter's calls. The worst insurance broker i've ever had. I recognize my driving record isn't pristine, but these morons suckered me into a policy with a $3000 deductible if an accident happens within 90 days. A not-at-fault accident occurred and these people and the insurance provider they set me up with were absolutely horrible and unhelpful. I received better quality service from the other parties' insurance.

Terrible. If someone hits you , they wont investigate or fight for you at all. You will have to do everythibg yourself which includes going after the other drivers insurance. Kind of defeats the purpose of paying these guys 15,000 for 10years without accidents. Oh and i supposedly have "full coverage" as well.

STAY AWAY!!!! this place will make sales under false pretenses. they will quote you a price and promise you the world and when you get the policy documents its bare bones and nothing you ask for and then they have their hand out for more money. when you ask for cancelation and refund they give you the run around. they are so unprofessional and scream at you when it isn't going their way. you may want to contact the insurance commissioner before purchasing anything from this place. because you're gonna need their assistance to recover the losses from this business

Awful. Just awful customer service. Sumner is also an AWFUL business. Icela Del Dios was our broker and let me tell you, she and the entire team is rude and unorganized. This company WILL NOT have your back if you get into an accident. What's the point of auto insurance if your insurance company won't help you with the cost of damages? I use my car for work and they didn't even ask upon inquiry for the policy. I got into an accident in a rental car due to my personal car having manufacturing issues and they cancelled my policy completely leaving myself and my mother without insurance

There are an insane amount of hidden fees and they don't have to tell you about them until it time for you to pay. If you decide to cancel the policy they will charge you a massive cancellation fee and for an extra month of coverage. If you refuse the collection agencies go after you. I have to get a lawyer now to stop this madness! Don't Go With Sumner Insurance Services... it's going to cost you!!!

They transferred me to Sumner insurance in upland,ca. the guy who answered the phone had major attitude with me & wouldnt give me a direct price quote, unless i was gonna buy my insurance at that moment. He tried asking for my credit card info before he would even give me a qoute. He told me no matter what i would pay no more than $15-25 a month. I asked for an exact price, which he wouldn't give me. I told him it seemed a lil sketchy to me that he wouldnt give me the exact price quote unless he had my card info. Told him

I wish I would have read these reviews before I signed up with Sumner! They are UNETHICAL! They have hidden Broker fees which leave you owing so much. Be careful what you sign.

The Better Business Bureau and everywhere else I can think of to Complain will know. I was told I had to pay 125.00 to balance out my payments. I was quoted a lower price but my next bill was 60.00 more and the money I thought would go to my Insurance company they kept all except 20.00!

Avoid at all cost what Richard failed to tell me that almost half of the quote was commission . Then they sent a second bill because they said my driving record had too many points. They new full well what my record was at the time of the quote. They did take $50 off the bill but then billed for more within a week. I paid in full at time of quote however if you try to cancel which I did in the first month you find out again half the money you paid is commission which you won't get back. Wouldn't recommend....my agent that I thought I trusted, gave me a quote....the amount changed three times. I was charged for service fee, Withdrawl fee, installment fee...none of which were discussed with me... I left her email and calls to which I had to keep Calling her. She never apologized, try telling me it was miscommunication, or blame me that she told me and my mistake!
I spoke to supervisor who didn't apologize either and defended the agent basically. Instead of trying to help me.

They do not cancel policies after receiving a signed written request. They cancel policies they have no authority to cancel. They continue to collect premiums and fees on policies they were suppose to cancel. Their communication with clients is pathetic.
After I found out they didn't cancel my renters policy in December 2014 when I bought a home and purchased a homeowners policy, I then received a letter (yesterday) stating they cancelled my HO policy (notifying my mortgage company) instead of the auto policy I requested to be cancelled
