Dr. Chaekal feels privileged to provide the highest level of orthodontic care to the people in her community, and she approaches her treatment of patients like they are her second family. She was born and raised in Korea before moving to the United States for her education. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at University of California Berkley.

Due to difficulty in obtaining dental coverage throughout college, I only went to the dentist once to remove my wisdoms. I finally got coverage through my employer and had a difficult time finding a dental clinic I liked. When I married my husband, his dental plan only covered us with Dental World. From my first appointment earlier this year, I have had nothing but amazing services. Its so awesome that when my husbands dental plan changed to allow us to go other places, I said NOPE WE ARE STAYING.

New patient. I chipped my tooth and was scheduled for the next morning. The waiting area was clean and sensibly organized, the secretaries were friendly and greeted me multiple times with kindness. The doctor and assistant were organized, timely, and he was thorough. He was almost like an artist and worked the entire time as if he were the patient. I highly recommend and have already made future appointments.

Best dentist experience I've ever had. Super clean office and friendly staff. My hygienist was efficient and thorough with zero pain or discomfort. She also was easy to talk with and shared info on a whitening product I was looking for and they offered without the markup found in other retail stores. And boy, oh boy, does it ever work!!! Crest Emulsion!
The Doctor / Dentist was also super kind and informative, checking not only my teeth, but my tongue, throat, cheeks and gums for any issues or signs I should be concerned about. A+

I've officially found my forever dentist! Erin did a great job cleaning my teeth as well as giving me tips & advice! Everyone is soo friendly there! And it's super clean In there!! They had this X-ray machine I've never seen before it was pretty cool! Dr.Ing was awesome! The way he goes over the X-rays and gives options, I've learned a lot! Dental world is the best. They treat my two daughters amazing, and my daughters love it here compared to other dentist offices. They have such a simple modern look and all of their tools are up to date, and least intrusive. My oldest daughter has anxiety, so if you do too you should come here. The hygienist assistants and doctor really listen to you as a patient.

My boyfriend went here for his cleaning and a checkup. In hopes to set up a "regular" dentist for him. When I called to book the appointment they were friendly and accommodating, they were able to get him in quickly. He was happy with the overall experience and I will most likely be making this my dentist also.

This was our first visit for my bride and I to Dental World. We required a dental scaling and checkup, which was aptly performed by the attending Dental Hygienists, Erin and Stacie with the examination performed by Dr. Yoo DDS. What a pleasant surprise to be warmly welcomed and ushered to our respective examination areas on time. We found all personnel minding the social distancing rules and suited-up with the appropriate personal protective equipment. Although the scaling process is never pleasant, both Hygienists were great at their tasks, resulting in a pleasant experience and a quality job

Moved to Makakilo from Mililani a little over a year ago Erin my dental hygienist worked at town center dental for a bit to help them. Erin is awesome I highly recommend her she's very thorough and gentle and always ask how you are doing. Glad to have her back as my dental hygienist. Carla the receptionist was super nice was able to reschedule me when they had a cancellation, Followed through like she promised. Dr Ing the dentist is also very thorough and will answer any questions you have.

I finally found a place that I feel comfortable and safe doing my cleanings!! The staff is amazing, from the receptionist, hygienist, and the doctor ! 5 stars all the way around !! Let's not forgot the wait time which is little to none, even with the covid pandemic , wait time was still reasonable considering the extra precautions they need to take in between patients !

I must say the staff is great, polite, friendly, and charismatic. I haven't been to the dentist for awhile, but with such a great experience, ample parking, and great location it will be so easy to return. If your looking for a new dentist this is the place to come. I learned so much about teeth during my visit and he took the time to gather as much information as he could to better assist me. I used to go in this clinic but I have to find another dental office beside from being not gentle, they make me feel like I'm not brushing my teeth and they required me to go every 3 months. My hygienist used to be gentle at first visit then after following visit blah...blah. As a person scare of dental instruments i need more gentle person to do my teeth besides they charged really expensive even though I have dental coverage. I'm glad my new dentist now is very very gentle they want me to feel really comfortable and charged me only for tax $3.25 compare to what I paying before between

I had my first appointment here a month or so ago. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. The office is clean and conveniently located in Kapolei Commons. I saw Dr. Ing and he was fantastic. He obviously has a passion and a love for what he does. I also scheduled a consult for Invisalign, which I plan to do eventually. I asked a lot of questions, left voicemails, and they've always returned my calls and answered my questions. I'm so glad to have found a dentist/orthodontist close by with an all around wonderful staff.

Ineffable. The experience I had here has far-exceeded any reasonable expectations I had walking in. From the phone call attempting to schedule on the same day to walking out the front door, it was nothing but smiles. The receptionist made every effort to squeeze me in, and succeeded. She was also expedient when it came to greeting me as I walked into the somewhat cramped waiting room (sorry, claustrophobes). Shortly after I filled out the new patient form, I was greeted by my amazing dental hygienist, Sharon. She was beyond personable, informative, and gentle when it came to my teeth and gums.

I haven't been to the dentist for awhile since I was pregnant and after giving birth, I did not have the time to find a dental clinic since I recently moved back from WA. Scheduling was no problem, they do their best to accommodate my husband and I for same day appointments, which is awesome!

After having a traumatic experience with my military dentist I avoided the dentist for a bit after I got out. I was recommended by my coworkers to visit this location. One of my crowns broke and needed a consultation to see what was going on. After getting the results they informed me that I needed to get work done by Dr. Hoshino (Endodontist) and Dr. Ing.
Dr. Hoshino worked on two root canals. I've never done two in one sitting but I wanted to get it done asap. My procedure went very well and aside from having to sit in a chair for almost four hours they made it as comfortable as possible

Today I had my first dental appointment from this office and so far the best experience I've had in a long time. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Ing who did a very thorough examination and he explained everything I needed to know.
Two weeks prior I also had a pleasure of meeting Orthodontist Dr. Chaekal for a consultation regarding braces for my children.
Both Doctors were very thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and outstanding bedside manner.
