Do not use this company!! I submitted my tax information 3 months ago and paid $574. I have yet to receive any phone call or email about my returns. I have called several times only to find out they misplaced my information. Then it’s been excuse after excuse about how busy they are. Now because of their negligence my taxes will be late and I will incur a penalty. On top of all that, I still don’t have my returns or my money! Do not use this company! Honestly I can never give these folks enough praise. Always on top of things and communicative. I started using Hopkins Tax and Consulting back when I was in business for myself and taxes were complicated. Now even though I am no longer in business for myself, Charles and his amazing tax professionals are still finding ways to save me money and help me to plan for my retirement.

I have been using Hopkins for two years now and I have been very pleased with my experiences, especially during the Times Of COVID. Scheduling was easy and they were very thorough in my preparation. Easy to upload necessary documents. They take the headache and navigation out of tax prep for the self-employed.

It was all good in the beginning, didn't pay attention to my QB account thinking it was all in hands of the professionals however, they never kept up with the QB entries or reconciliations. I have two entities with them, Its now March and they still haven't reconciled my 2020 books therefore, I can't file my taxes yet. The lack of communication is unacceptable, I am very disappointed. Never again. I do NOT recommend this business.

Excellent first first visit to Hopkins Tax & Consulting. Everything from the warm reception walking in the door, to the actual consultation itself was e outstanding. As an accounting advisor, Charles has the requisite capabilities and expertise to be a great accountant, but his real superpower is that those hard skills are coupled with empathy and care -- he's willing to "take his accountant hat off" to make sure he's giving truly holistic advice (not just narrow accounting advice) to his clients, and that is incredibly powerful (and differentiating).

Hopkins tax accounting does a fine job. Their team members and receptionist are all friendly and kind and warm. Their office is inviting and well kept. I’ve personally worked with Charles and enjoyed and benefited from his advice. They have a nice secure portal for client documents. Also, I find their prices to be competitive and reasonable. In fact, it appears that their 1040 prices are extremely well priced in my estimation.
