Services
Cleveland's original gastropub, The South Side has the nicest patio in Tremont, a spacious curvy bar and plenty of space for you to kick back and enjoy food and drinks with your friends and family. Sit by the indoor/outdoor fireplace, enjoy dining under the stars on our 1000 square foot patio (weather permitting of course) or socialize with any of a number of our great beers, wines and cocktails, including our multipl award winning Bloody Mary's.
We always welcome walk-ins at The South Side, but know that during peak times, there may be a wait. We take reservations for up to 20 people per group on Monday through Thursday and up to 12 people per group on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. We welcome courteous family, friend, or work celebrations within these groups, however we do not allow decorations, or offer any a/v options.

Long wait, but neat looking place. Enchiladas and eggs are delicious. I ordered bacon and way underdone and ordered a stack of blueberry pancakes. Pancakes were still like batter in middle and minimal blueberry topping and almost no whip cream. Definitely not enough for stack of pancakes. Mimosas were very good. Would go back

This was blocks away from Barrio where we ate the night before.
It has a parking lot which is a plus.
We were there on a holiday, so we were lucky that it was open and ready for business. Though we were warned that there was a shortage on staff so the wait time for service may be long. It was fine.
Both places we went to are in an area called Tremont which has been described as “hipster paradise” and yes you can see it.

The South Side has compelling ideas for entrees and shareables, not to mention a nice outdoor patio. I’ve enjoyed the Sunday brunch before and more recently the epic chicken sandwich that was delicious with its slaw (no 🥓 on mine). The bartender makes a good cocktail 🍹 and the service is okay too. A great idea for lunch or dinner, they also have Saturday brunch available. Great eats!

I’m sure the fact that they were busy jeopardized our takeout experience this time around. Not only did I receive over cooked chicken, I got a nugget of some other meat which I’m assuming was fish. Experiences like this unfortunately make me feel uncomfortable. Makes me feel like I received a mixup of returns so I threw it away.

Casual outdoor dining with tables socially distant. No one wearing masks. Wait staff directs customers to use cell phones to make menu selections but will provide paper menus if you don't have a cell phone. Food was good but typically overpriced. Wait staff was friendly and helpful but took considerable time for them to deliver salt and pepper shakers. If time is not a factor nice place to relax and enjoy the outdoor dinning.
