Over the years, Dr. Bruce E. Dr. Carter first started practicing in 1985, which means he's been serving patients and improving smiles for well over three decades so far.
Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Gwinnett County on Old Norcross Road, which is just off of Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd. We are located in the medical pocket that includes PAL Pediatric Associates of Lawrenceville, Haywood Eye Care, and Georgia Gynecologic Oncology, amongst other businesses.

I had a dentist I had gone to for years. Before a big procedure was able to be completed, multiple items caused me to lose confidence. Based on good reviews and a convenient location, I went to Dr. Carter. Unfortunately, it turned out the other dentist/practice were long time colleagues. Over time it became clear that patient confidentiality was disregarded and behind the scenes conversations had been going on. After being strung along for months, I was given a ridiculously high quote (obvious after a few other consults/quotes) with several frivolous upcharges. This dentist is greedy, untrustworthy

I have been going to Transforming Smiles since I was very young and have continued to go there as an adult. They have always been and are still amazing! From the front office staff to Dr. Carter and all of the dental assistants, they are professional, caring, kind, and treat you like family.
Dr. Carter and the dental assistants are careful, gentle, and always make sure to keep communicating with you throughout everything to make sure you aren’t in pain. Even for the things that are going to be slightly uncomfortable, they make as comfortable and quick as the uncomfortable thing can be.

I absolutely LOVE Transforming Smiles! I used to be absolutely terrified to go to the dentist. The dentist I was seeing had done work that didn’t need to be done, and the work she had done looked awful. When I went to see Dr. Carter, he reassured me they would take care of me. He’s so funny and kind! His assistants Patti and Shanelle are both wonderful!! I have some great conversations with them. Best dentist I have ever been too. He has redone my whole mouth. Replaced old silver fillings with tooth colored fillings, referred me to a dentist to have 2 root canals redone because they were infected and not done properly the first time. He's absolutely the best. I have been to dentist who didn't even care to take the time to bring my smile back to life. THANKS Dr. Carter. Plus the front office staff is GREAT!
