The lender orders the appraisal. Lender contacts the appraisal management company, which places an order with the appraiser. Nearly 95% of appraisals come from appraisal management companies, which guarantee independence of the appraiser. After the management company contacts us, we schedule an appointment with a real estate agent to see the property.
