Billie Jo Hopwood is a lifetime resident of Melbourne, Florida. She attended Johnson Middle School and Eau Gallie High School, as did both of her children. Upon graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's in Legal Studies Ms. Hopwood began her seventeen-year career as a paralegal.
Tiffani focuses her practice in the area of marital and family law, representing clients in actions involving dissolution of marriage, equitable distribution of assets and liabilities, child time sharing and visitation, child support, alimony, paternity, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence.
Mr. Russell was recently named as a third partner in the Platt Hopwood firm due to his success in the practice of criminal law. In 2013 Mr. Russell became Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law and is a specialist in Criminal Trial practice. His previous employment at the office of the Public Defender has given Mr. Russell extensive trial experience in numerous area of criminal law.

Bait and switch! Hands down the worst experience with an attorney I’ve ever had. So unprofessional and rude. I could never get a straight answer from anyone, not even about my invoices. Billie Jo will treat you like a criminal and talk down to you if you don’t agree with everything her and her paralegal say. My paralegal got a DUI during my case. Everything seemed great in the beginning but as months went on you could really see their true colors ($$$).

So, I called and they set up a specific time for me to call and speak with Mr Russell and I agreed.one week later I call:
"Oh sorry he has an emergency at the jail"
So, she sets up another time for me to call and I did!
"Oh sorry he's not available"🙄
So she sets up yet ANOTHER time for me to call, 2 WEEKS later😒
yep I fell for it AGAIN.
"Not available" yada yada.
But! He'll call you back.
Yeah, he never did🤔
