I am so glad that you found me! My name is Jeanie Horton, and I am a 30-year-old photographer based in the Bay Area. I am a 4th generation Oakland-er, and very proud to call this beautiful town home. My 101 year old grandmother even walked the Golden Gate Bridge on the day it opened. I absolutely love where I'm from, and what I do.
I have been doing photography for about 9 years, and have a background in digital design and photo editing. My original love of photo editing later turned into a love affair with the actual camera. In addition to photography, I have a passion for art, being in or around water, comedy, and traveling.

Jeanie was an amazing photographer for our Fall family photos. She suggested the perfect location, timing, and even gave tips on what clothes to wear that would photograph well - we really appreciated her expertise. On top of that, the photos she delivered were high quality and gave us plenty of options for our family holiday card. We loved working with Jeanie - highly recommend!

Jeanie took my graduation photos and I could not have been happier with the experience and results! I spoke with Jeanie about the types of photos I was interested in and she helped to plan out timing and specific locations for great natural lighting and backgrounds. When some of my graduation regalia didn't arrive in time for our initially scheduled shoot, Jeanie graciously met up with me a second time, a few weeks later, to finish our photos. I loved all of the photos I received and am so grateful she helped me to capture this milestone!

Beautiful photos! We would highly recommend Jeanie Horton Photography. Jeanie took our engagement photos and we were thrilled with how they turned out. Because we felt so comfortable around Jeanie, the photos were so natural and genuine. Jeanie delivered on exactly what we were looking for and then some! Because we had such a great experience, it was an easy choice when we wanted newborn photos taken. Jeanie was so patient and calm with our 1 week old, and the photos she captured were gorgeous. We will treasure them for a lifetime.

Jeanie photographed our wedding at Stern Grove. She did a FANTASTIC job!!! We love our photos, they are so beautiful and vibrant. Like, jaw dropping beautiful. She captured the magic of the venue and the day.
She was completely professional.
On the day of, she maintained a low profile with her assistant. She was never in the way or distracted from what was happening for us or the guests.
Her price was extremely reasonable. I can't fathom how one could get better pictures, but one could definitely pay 5x more.

What an amazing experience!!! Jeanie knew just what to do to make us feel comfortable and blended into our wedding party so well that it was like having another family member.
