One of the first steps is to determine its value. In the current Maui real estate market, this can be a challenging task. We will use the information that you submit to us to create a Comparative Market Analysis. This data will give you an indication of what your property may sell for if you decide to put it on the market.
Maui is a tropical island in the Hawaiian chain with a fairly mild year-round climate tempered by the Pacific Ocean. At sea level the average afternoon winter temperature is around 75°F (see above for approximate degrees Celsius) during the coldest months of December and January. August and September are the hottest summer months with temperatures in the low 90s.
The incredible diversity of Maui means that there is bound to be real estate on Maui that fits your vision of paradise. Maui is a relatively small place, but its climate and the personality of the different communities is diverse. Central Maui real estate is prized for its location. Central Maui is the heart of Maui, and the towns of Wailuku and Kahului are the industrial, civic and commercial hub of Maui. Wailuku is home to county and state government offices, the local hospital, and a charming old downtown area. The town is the gateway to the stunning Iao Valley and the beautiful West Maui Mountains.
If you're interested in buying a home in a tropical setting, Hana real estate is definitely worth a look. Hana, isolated from the rest of the island, is truly the last undeveloped tropical paradise on Maui. Vivid rainbows, lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls, black sand beaches and the steep east flank of Haleakala provide a backdrop on par with the best in not just Hawaii but all of Polynesia.

Billy Jalbert is the ONE realtor that SHINES amidst the abundance of realtors on Maui. His professionalism is what you hope for yet he still radiates that warm and friendly Aloha. This is my second time using Billy Jalbert as my Realtor. He helped me and my wife buy our first home back in 2011, and now that we have 2 kids, we had to upgrade to a bigger house, and once again Billy delivered.
There were many hurdles along the way created mainly by my lender, but he was able to get past them by proactively contacting them to try to get things moving faster. He also had several connections that he didn't hesitate to use to get things moving. He was also very good at managing the seller's expectations and was able to get me a better price than I was hoping for on the house.
