CRM Properties Group was founded in 1981, when Chuck Malk began identifying, renovating, and leasing underutilized properties in Chicago's River North area. A tax lawyer by profession, Chuck integrated his real estate clients with his tax knowledge and began renovating projects for the benefit of his clients.
All staff members are well educated in their field, which includes finance, accounting, construction, law, income tax, marketing and management. Began his career in 1977 as a Tax Accountant for Deloitte Touche. Thereafter, he spent a year zoning property and building single family homes for a family business, Chesterfield Homes.
Bentley Construction Corporation is the construction management company that provides construction services exclusively to CRM Properties Group, Ltd. With close to 30 years of experience, the company prides itself on having a great knowledge of architecture, engineering, environmental issues, "green" technology, insurance, construction law and construction management.
