Sher L. Allan is a native of Bay County. Sher Allan was educated in local schools, then graduated with her A.A. from Gulf Coast Community College and her B.S. from Florida State University in Political Science. Immediately following her graduation, Ms. Allan served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida.
I have practiced family law since I returned to Bay County 20 years ago. We are pleased to offer representation in all areas of family law. Often, it is helpful to have a consultation before you are sure of whether you need representation. For instance, I recommend that clients entering a second marriage consider prenuptial planning - particularly if either party has children from prior relationships.
After prosecuting hundreds of cases, I resigned from the State Attorney's Office and while engaged in private practice, have represented many defendants in criminal cases. If you are arrested, it is important to get competent counsel as quickly as possible. If you are going to be held for over 24 hours, you will have a first appearance to determine whether and under what terms you will be released.
We are pleased to offer our clients planning services - both those necessary to plan for life and ultimately death. In addition to offering Wills and Trusts for estate planning purposes, we offer long-term care planning tools such as Living Wills, Designations of Health Care Power of Attorney and Surrogates and General and Limited Powers of Attorney and Irrevocable Income Trusts.
Civil litigation usually occurs when one citizen or business sues another - either because the complaining party claims to have been wronged or because they seek to collect a debt. I have represented both complainants and those defending against civil court cases. I have represented folks suing or being sued over large and small sums of money.

She did a great job handling my wife's case. Took time out to explain the process and worked tirelessly to defend my wife.
