TL;DR -- If you're looking for a GREAT State Farm experience, this office is one to go with.
The staff at Melicca Dunn's agency is top notch. I'm very happy. They made the process of moving here very easy -- setting up a temporary renters policy, transferring auto insurance from different states and establishing a homeowner's policy. They did it all quickly and without error while ensuring there weren't any gaps in coverage or any missed discounts.

Adrienne and the agency were great! We are out of state buyers moving to Virginia and even though we dealt with Adrienne remotely, she was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. My family had been with State Farm for over 40 years and my parents both retired from State Farm (over 50yrs between the two). Never have I met more inexperienced people in my life. Adrienne is not helpful at all and they do not care about doing what is right for the customer. Their system error caused my Drive Safe and Safe discount to go uncounted for over a year and they refused to do anything at all. I was moved to this office after my long time agent retired, it was not by choice by any means. I look forward to working with my previous agent’s son who is now the owner of his old office.

I can't say enough great things about Melicca Dunn State Farm. They are local office here in Charlottesville that truly cares about their customers and community. I worked with one of the agents there, John Burton, and I was blown away by the service. I previously had Allstate Insurance for the past 37 years and took a leap to accept a quote for them, just to keep my options open. I found out that I could be saving over 2,500 dollars a year. Adrienne is awesome. She helped my business get a new and even better insurance policy than the one recently we had. State Farm had the best rates around town.
