Purewal + Co is hands down the best tax preparer, tax support, and overall tax service I have ever used. I have gone from being a devout H&R Block client, to trying out a very small private firm, finally landing at Purewal + Co and am making myself right at home for the long haul here. I have VERY difficult taxes with side businesses, multiple jobs, and contractor work and they took care of it super quickly and easily. I wish this worked fine but it didn't. We were charmed by her energy and competence a few months ago when we decided to hire her.
That faded pretty quickly.
Always late, always busy, returning call or emails after days, late night messages, disappear for weeks and most importantly - "forgot" to send our personal returns to IRS, resulting in thousands of dollars of penalties.
Her favorite catch phrases: 1) it's a strange year (oh really?!) 2) busy with work, I am so sorry (we all are) 3) I'll follow up with you (it can take weeks and several emails and calls).
