Dr. Nagaraj received her degree in Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, New Jersey. Patients are strongly encouraged to refrain from smoking for as long as possible after treatment, as cigarette usages increases the likelihood of delayed healing of surgical site, infection and implant/graft failure.
The term TMJ stands for Temporo-mandibular Joint that connects the lower and upper jaw. This is one of the most complex joints in the entire body, capable of forward and backward movement, rotations, and side-to-side movements. TMJ often refers to complications and problems with this joint. Some potential causes of the disease include genetics, hormones, low-level infections, auto-immune diseases, trauma, and clenching or grinding of the teeth.

From the minute you enter this peaceful and serene office you feel at ease and relaxed. Dr Nagaraj and her beautiful and gentle assistant are exceptionally skilled and tuned in to the needs snd feelings of their patients. I believe the Dr is highly skilled and a genuinely caring person. The minute I entered Pristine Dentistry I became less anxious. Beautiful soft green wall colors, simple decor and clean. As I walked into the room for my cleaning I was in awe of the large window that viewed a beautiful zen garden of rocks, wood and bamboo. I never thought I would feel so peaceful in a dentist chair. Dr.Nagaraj was very calming and gentle. Best dental experience ever. ❤️

I had my first appointment with Dr. Nagaraj today. I am a highly anxious dental patient who put off going for longer than I should have. I made an emergency appt with the Dr for my husband who had a broken crown. They were able to get him in the next morning. The office was truly "pristine"! Clean, as well as beautifully decorated, modern, and what looked like state of the art equipment. The Dr and her assistant were amazing...we felt like it was concierge dentistry! Her skills were excellent, as was her chair-side manner. My husband felt calm and reassured. She ended up extracting the tooth, and he had a speedy and painless recovery. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone! She is our new dentist!
