If you ask me what kind of restaurant "Tasty Bowl" is, and what do we sell? I can tell you Tasty Bowl sells fresh, healthy, quality, delicious, innovation Chinese Food and our restaurant experiences. I have been helping my father to manage a restaurant since I was 16 years old. Within the past 18 years I have been always wondering how healthy Chinese food can be more healthly presented to my customers.

We had eaten here before and it was great. Last night, not so much. Both mine and my husband's chicken was so hard and crisp I could hardly eat it. Was definitely left in the fryer for a long time. Really hoping this was just a fluke. I've found places with better prices and same quality in the area so I'm hoping next time is better or we will be frequenting another restaurant.

Hands-down best Chinese food in Ocala! I have tried many different Chinese takeout restaurants in search of that New York City Chinese food I love and miss… Tasty ball hit the nail on the head! Awesome pork fried rice, awesome sesame chicken, wonton soup on point… Eggrolls on point… Very happy customer! They even gave us some extra food on our Christmas order! Above and beyond.

Don't get the Mapo Tofu. Not Authentic. Has peas, carrots, and the same sweet brown sauce they probably put on twenty other things on the menu. no meat, obviously no chilis and/or sichuan peppercorn, and certainly not spicy (and I specified extra spicy) or having the mala flavor profile at all. For a 12 dollar+ meal I expect a bit more. Two stars for this item without considering the rest of the menu. Would have been one star, but at least it was edible and not completely disgusting. There may be other things that are worthwhile, but I will not be coming back to find out, as I continue my search

The Orange Chicken, Rice And 🥗 Salad was DELICIOUS.
The Best that I have EVER eaten in the Ocala Florida Area.
Big portions of Everything.
The Food was Fixed Perfectly.
The Restaurant was Very Clean.
The Service here was Extraordinary,
Marvelous, Amazing.
There are No words to describe the Service that I received today, compared to other Restaurants that I have ordered from.

The pad Thai was disgusting. The sauce was so watery. The taste was like a sweet vinegar. Veggies were overcooked. It’s just not good. My husband ordered the general Tso and the chicken was so dry and crunchy. We even thought it didn’t taste or look like chicken. His rice was so dry. This place’s food was awful. I do not recommend.

Is there any Chinese restaurant in Ocala that's real good. I had the Mongolian Beef and it was just ok. Meat was chewy but had a little flavor. My husband hD the Beef Lo Mein. Meat had no flavor and was super chewy. The pork egg rolls were the best part of the meal. The fried noodles were stale. The fortune cookie was pretty fresh. I don't believe we'll order from them again.

Very clean dining area. Friendly employees. I had the pork soup bowl with veggies and udon noodles. It was delicious and filling. The only thing lacking was fresh condiments instead of the usual packets of generic soy, duck, mustard and hot sauces. My wife had a rice bowl with chicken, veggies and Szechaun sauce. Again a large bowl and very tasty. Next time I'll order it to go or bring my own condiments and enhance it the way I like. Prices are very reasonable and service was attentive. I will be back.

When I was there, the dining room was empty except for the children of the staff who were at a large table doing homework and playing games. Not sure why it took so long for my food which was not something that they started when I ordered (house special soup, and boneless ribs) but they were worth waiting for.... tender pieces of sweet boneless pork, and a soup loaded with fresh veggies, and shrimp/chicken.
Good place for takeout - just order ahead to save yourself extra time waiting.

Love the noodle bowl with the pho noodles. I just wish they gave you more than 4 items to put in it for the price they charge..also I have to agree with the person that complained about the kids running around..
I was there about 3 times before I stopped going because the kids were very rude. They ran back and forth past my table smacking the table as they went by & screaming. I just wanted to eat in peace.

Ordered Mother's Day dinner from the Tasty Bowl.
The noodle soup, with shrimp, bok choy, snow peas and baby corn, with Odon noodles was to die for.
The ribs w/bone were meaty and delicious.
The main dishes and the house fried rice were delicious.
I have eaten Chinese food in New York, South Florida and Hong Kong. Let me tell you this will be my place to get Chinese food in Ocala!

Not bad food but not even close to the best chinese food ive had. The staff is friendly and they took my order over the phone and my food was ready in less than 10 minutes, the restaurant was clean inside and had digital boards with the menu displayed. Tasty bowl is a bit pricy for the portions you get in my opinion,the rice is a bit bland and didn't do much for me, the sweet and sour chicken was decent but there is a spice i couldn't put my finger on that kind of had a odd after taste. Not mad that I tried it but unfortunately i won't be coming back.

They have their 3 kids running around the restaurant. They were running, screaming and even crying at the top of their lungs while I wanted to eat my dinner in peace and quiet. It was a complete zoo and the parents did absolutely nothing to stop them. Who likes kids screaming and crying on a plane? Well, this was worse as the kids were running and brushing by the paying customers and the parents or owners of the store could care less about quieting them down once the got money, it was too bad, so sad. Annoying wasn't even the word for it. It was like nails on the chalkboard. These parents

I'm pretty picky about my Chinese food and I'm a big believer that it's easier to find good Chinese in NJ and NY and San Fran than anywhere in the country...so stopping for Chinese in Ocala, FL didn't leave me with high hopes, but it's what Dad wanted so it was to Tasty Bowl for an adventure.
The place is fairly new and very clean, but apparently (according to my Mom) it's always hot inside. I didn't think it was too bad, and we were actually in and out in about 8 or 9 minutes (it was mid afternoon so the place was empty). The guy at the register was pleasant

My mom and I had been wanting to try this place since they opened but just now got around to it and we are so glad we did. The food was excellent. The vegetables were fresh and the the food was very flavorful. I got the lunch combo because I wanted the sides. My mother got the lo mein and it was very "tasty". We are excited for the colder months to get here because their soup bowls looked excellent. This place would be great to eat there or take out. I really hope this place lasts because it is needed.
