Went here for our 7th year anniversary and babymoon a few months back, never had Asian food so good and well displayed! And we eat Asian foods every week, we got the bento box and love it all the service was perfect! We will definitely be going back when we visit the springs again! I highly recommend this place if in ocala area and like Asian food

Do not get any type of fried rice at this place. They basically give you white rice with onion, corn, choice of meat, and barely any egg fried in. Its definitely an overpriced poor man's fried rice. The sushi was the only good part of the meal.

It’s a Monday night and quiet here, which is perfect for me. Really relaxing atmosphere and nice ambiance. Our server was super sweet and asked if we wanted extra ginger dressing which I couldn’t say no to! Veggie sushi options were good and the hibachi portions were great.

Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean, the food was fresh, delicious and in huge portions. You'll be talking home leftovers. Great value at affordable prices.

Amazing service with some of the nicest women out front! Best deals in town on sushi rolls and they come with soup and salad? Incredible! I am vegetarian and they will let me create custom rolls as long as they have the ingredients which many other restaurants have a problem with. Thank you Asian Pop!

First time going to this place in town and I can honestly say I'm surprised they have 4stars in Yelp app because this is the ONLY reason why I came and left feeling dissatisfied and still hungry!
The service was decent but the food not so great. I ordered the steamed gyoza and when they came out they did not look cooked and they were too hard to eat, the pork fried rice I ordered had corn which is totally weird and doesn't look great. The rice actually had no flavor and was very greasy. I'd say the only thing I actually enjoyed was the sushi. The Mermaid sushi is worth the money

Let's start this review with the most important aspect of the entire place.... Buy one get one 1/2 off on all sushi rolls.

The icing on the cake is that the rolls are delicious, full of flavor and plenty of filling. I also love their chicken udon noodles and the Pad Thai (spelled funny on their menu) is some of the best I've ever had and I'm picky.

Do yourself a favor and order a large hot sake for under $8 and enjoy it. It's the largest serving of Sake I've ever been given. Disclaimer: don't order the large sake at lunchtime unless you're looking for a good

We stopped in for lunch and ordered Bento Boxes. Food and service were great. Miso soup was tasty and crab Rangoon was yummy too.

Absolutely amazing. The food was so good and the waitress was really nice. I got the tempura chicken and tempura ice cream. It's the first time I have ever had tempura anything and it was great. My husband had the general tso chicken and tmt rolls. He enjoyed the rolls so much he got a second order 😂. And the chicken was perfectly cooked.

Best food never anything wrong with anything here. Nice employees too. Need to try it out you wont regret it.

Excellent as always. We had 5 different rolls some with raw fish which was plentiful. In addition my husband had the lunch bento box which included soup, salad, and appetizers - all very good. Take out service was great and luckily we were there right before the lunch rush. This place is popular and rightly so.

Very disappointing... I ordered a few basic items to give them a try..Lo mein noodles were bland and over cooked, sushi roll was very small for $6, and the fried tofu was mushy...

I was recommended to try Asian Pop by a friend and I'm glad he told me about it! Giant menu, very reasonable prices and very fresh sushi. They have lots of fun sushi rolls, and are happy to make changes for you. Always greeted with a big smile and pleasant staff, Asian Pop has become ne of my regulars. During COVID, they have done a great job with their Takeout, and now have the dining area open again.

The food here is always handled with care! I went with my family before the pandemic for my birthday and their fried cheesecake desert was sooo good! They even had the sparkling candles!

Even though the pandemic struck, they still offer take outs which is so convenient for my family and I! We are always on the move and always craving for asian food!
I personally love their shrimp tempuras! It's super crunchy and the flavor is just awesome! My mom's favorite is the chicken katsu and she loves it as well!

Overall, the dine-in is so relaxing too with many TVs, but during this pandemic

So glad they have, so far, stayed open during the strange times we are in! We have gotten to go's a few times, including a big celebration for 3! All great! Tonight we drove by and dining room open. We were alone for awhile then another couple came in. Seemed that there was a steady take out.
We both took advantage of the buy one get one 50% off, with soup and salad . He ordered unfiltered sake, it was wonderful, my choice next time. I got my usual, house Chardonnay... I have to say, it was not bad, ruined, it was just nasty. Asked the server the winery but she only knew Chardonnay

Ordered for delivery on a Friday as a treat and was very impressed with how my order was received! Everything was packed beautifully. The sushi was fresh and tasted delicious. Arrived quickly as well overall I'm impressed!

Oh my gosh people... If you like sushi then this is the place you wanna be if you're in Ocala. Had to eat outside cause of Covid but because the food was so cotton pickin good who cares, right? I had the lunch special of 2 rolls which consisted of a spicy tuna roll, (my always go to no matter what sushi place I'm at), and this thing called a New Eastern Roll. Hands down, to me, the absolute best sushi roll I've had in a looooooong time. In fact, it's so good that every time I want sushi in Ocala... That's what I'm ordering !!

Too pricy, for less than fresh. People are a bit pushy, but they try. Ijust hated the odd food selection. No sushi roll notmals or favs for me. However if you're going for nothing but atmosphere and to drink alcohol it's perfect.
Good bar, but you pay for it! Pretty place Great food plating, better than taste.

Nothing less than amazed at how elegant the food is. Prepared with creativity and appreciation, you can see the chef puts his mind into how he prepares the food. Definitely a 5 star restaurant, and definitely will be going back again!

Visiting from NY as I tried this spot last year also- awesome both times!! Crab rangoons and spring rolls??!!....the best I have ever had!! I am so glad I found this place!!

Great prices, very good sushi, and friendly service. I have been here 6 times and never had a bad experience! This is our go to spot for sushi.

After seeing all of the great reviews on Yelp we decided to try this restaurant. When we walked in the door there was an odor that was not good. We are now wishing we turned around and left. Most of the food tasted ok but by the time we got home, both my daughter and I were feeling nauseous. From now on we will go by word of mouth only for recommendations and we will not be returning.

Bento box lunch special surprisingly matched our taste buds. We thought it is another American Chinese food restaurant, but the teriyaki chicken is not overly sweet. The shrimp tempura is so crispy and not oily. The set comes with a Japanese salad and a bowl of miso soup. Total price $22. Yum!

After a long day decided to try this establishment out in lieu of cooking dinner. At first the restaurant appeared to be decent enough but once being greeted and seated I visited the restroom which smelled of urine and it was very unclean. The appetizers were good we had the gyoza and calamari both of which were good alone but the sauces were extremely salty. After ordering our entrees the waiter reappeared with our soups two of which she set down without issue while the third she spilled onto my hand and leg after which she asked if I was ok to which I replied no it burned my hand and her response

Had Mexican, Kamikaze and tuna/cuke rolls with miso soup for lunch. Mex & soup good, tuna ok. K roll salmon was pureed. Yuk!

It has been a long time since we have tried this restaurant-not for any particular reason, it just seems to not pop into our heads when we're out for dinner.

We had one sweet and sour chicken, two teriyaki and one general Tso's chicken bento boxes. The dressing on the salad was not a hit with any of our diners, but everything else was very good.

It's location - across the parking lot from the Regal Theaters - made it a great location for a dinner/movie night.
