A connector - known as an abutment (B) - is placed on top of the dental implant to hold and support your crowns. The crowns are custom-made to match your natural teeth and fit your mouth (C). Modern dental implants have been used successfully for over 30 years. They are the strongest devices available to support replacement teeth - and even better, they allow these new teeth to feel, look, and function naturally.
A dental bridge is a false tooth, also known as a pontic. If you have space from a missing tooth, a bridge will be custom made to fill the space with a false tooth. In a fixed bridge, the false tooth is fused between two porcelain crowns to fill in the area left by a missing tooth. The two crowns holding it in place are attached to the teeth on each side of the false tooth.
Grinding your teeth, an improper bite, age, fillings, and tooth decay can all be contributing factors in the wearing down, cracking, or breakage of your teeth. Dental crowns cover the entire visible surface of your affected tooth and add strength, durability, and tooth stability. Your dentist will usually be able to spot problem areas in your mouth that might lead to tooth damage and a need for crowns.
There are tiny canals within your tooth that may become infected. This leads to the pulp inside your tooth also becoming infected as well. Either your dentist or an endodontist can remove any infection by performing a root canal procedure. After the canals are cleaned and filled, the tooth then receives either a filling or crown.
At some point in our lives, most of us will get a cavity. In most cases, a cavity calls for your dentist to remove the decay and to fill and restore that area. There have been a number of advances in the field over the past few years. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. I had horrible experiences in the two times I have gone as an adult and therefore avoided going to a dentist for longer than I am willing to admit. Because of this I need a lot of major work done. I decided to take a chance on an office called Painless Dentistry in Wyandotte Michigan. There I had the lovely pleasure of meeting Dr. Dagher. I immediately felt at ease with his very calm, reassuring, and right to the point approach. He immediately addressed the initial issue I had come in for and did not do any unnecessary tests or procedures

What I did not expect is the holes they drilled into my OTHER teeth without asking, teeth that should’ve never been touched.
Additionally Painless wouldn’t allow my significant other to be in the room with me when we both requested. This is something that may not concern most, but to some it may and therefore I’m stating my experience.
I keep getting their postcards, I guess they expected to have given me cavities by now.
Be very clear about what you want, they’ll do whatever they want anyway. You’ve been warned

I had the best experience ever.When I called to make my appointment,I explained to the receptionist that I have anxiety and I fear dentist. When I got there everyone was so supportive and understood my fears.I had my procedure done yesterday and when I tell you it was painless and the dentist made sure I was comfortable. I am 57 years old and this is the first time that I had no pain or anxiety. Thank you

I have always had teeth issues an scared to get them fixed after a bad experience, but thanks to Dr. Dagher and Lisa, Rachel they made me feel so welcome and comfort and help me set up a plan for me to get my teeth healthier and on the right track. The front staff is amazing also with getting you scheduled in a timing fashion especially in emergencies situations and very nice. They go above and beyond for their patients. Thank you guys so much for all your help.

I live in Monroe and will make the 30 minute drive because De. Benson is a fantastic dentist! The staff are very friendly and accommodating and there have been a few times they have gotten me in the same day because of a tooth emergency. Good dentists are hard to come by and I guarantee you will be very happy with Dr. Benson.

I've been so pleased with the care we've received at the office. They were able to help my family with issues another dentist told us were too difficult and supposedly not covered by our insurance. My daughter had been so traumatized by the former dentist we thought she would need full sedation and a referral to a speciaist for what turned out to be a painless experience in Dr. Benson's office. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. They are not only good at what they do but also empathetic and kind. Highly recommend!

Receptionist Billie was very courteous and helpful. She was able to help me get pointed to the right people for my daughter for her insurance she has. That's above and beyond what other dentist offices have done for ME. I kept getting the No we don't and hang up. If there staff is this great and helpful then I know for sure they take care of there customers A1!!!
