They were able to accommodate a large party of 8 with no issues. Very good service and patient with our group. The food was really really good. Large portions and perfectly spiced. I highly recommend the Gobi 65! A Delicious fried cauliflower appetizer.

Super tasty takeout travels well. Lamb Vindaloo tender and tasty over basmati. Didn't ask me for heat level and I neglected to ask for my usual as hot as it gets so it came a nice mild allowing for tasting the spices. Garlic naan also very nice. Good quantity for the money. 2 meals for me.

This is the only place I have been to where the naan is made authentically in a clay oven. It’s so flaky and buttery just like the one in India. The tikka masala and dum biryani were delicious and authentic too! Best Indian food around Seattle and east side so far, can’t wait to go back!
I just wish the service was faster and there was more staff to serve customers. The decor and ambience is okay but the food makes up for all that.

We tried 5 items plus naan and rice. The flavors were stronger and spicier than the Northern Indian that I am used to but it was a nice change and I will definitely be back.

Order details

- Malai Murg Kebab $16.99 - Very tender and flavorful
- Chicken Tandoori $16.99 - Very tender and flavorful

- Saag Paneer $14.99 (The best I have ever had)
- Chicken Tikka Masala $15.99 - (I preferred the Butter Chicken as this had
too much roasted bell pepper flavor for my taste but my wife and son lived
it.)
- Butter Chicken $15.99 - not the best ever but very good in my opinion

TLDR - Cricket in Biriyani - Staff still served the same dish to other customers - Management not taking hygiene seriously
This was the worst experience I have ever had. Have heard great reviews about the place and ordered, Naan, curry and ulavucharu biriyani. We were half way through the naan and curry when biriyani was served. There was an insect in the biriyani (cricket, see pic attached. Close to chicken leg) I was disgusted. Called the waiter and he said sorry and took the food. But was still continuing to serve the same item (ulavucharu biriyani) to other customers. AFAIK, biriyani is cooked

First visit didn’t disappoint, Started with Veg. corn soup and 🐥 Manchow soup, both are really good, enough to share. 🐥 Karampodi appetizer was well done and Spiced Correct!!
Pepper corn was OK (not the best);
Desi style chicken noodles were really good and so is Vijayawada SPL 🐔 biryani, good food, service was slow though.

Friendly and warm service, super clean space and delightful Indian food, need I say more? We got together for a Diwali get together and the wait staff were so responsive, so very helpful with suggestions, we loved it! And the food had the classics, but also had some unique items. The paneer dishes were made perfect, and the gobi manchurian was perfect in terms of flavor. The naans were unbelievably fresh and the correct thickness. I highly recommend this place and cant wait to come back!

I ordered chicken dumb biriyani and requested to make it spicy. The biriyani had a good number of meat pieces which is good and did not have too much oil in it. Though I asked to make it spicy it was more or less like eating salted basmati rice with very less to no flavors and felt like spice level of 1/5. The meat pieces did not have much flavor in them either and was not very fresh. The side curry given with it is totally useless. Overall it felt like the quality and flavors are missing.

Very poor takeout experience. They provided an estimate of 35 minutes to pickup. I arrived10 minutes later than estimated pickup time. On arrival, they casually mentioned it'll take another 15 minutes. I asked to cancel my order, and I had to wait another 10 minutes to get my order cancelled. Would never visit again.

The place was very clean. We went on a Thursday evening and was not at all crowded. The karampodi chicken appetizer was very flavorful and delicious. Definitely a must try. The goat fry biryani is also good and spicy but not so spicy where you end up feeling hot. Definitely one of the top biryani places in the Greater Seattle area.

Decided to check this place out for lunch since I live close by and thought it was just ok. I definitely need to come back to try the more typical dishes but what I got was mediocre.

I got the tandoori fish and a side of garlic naan. First, the fish doesn't look like anything in the picture and it was just the fish and few pieces of Onion. The fish was cooked and then they put a bunch of spicy powder all over it. It was kinda dry. The naan bread was also not that great. It was tough. They did put a lot of garlic on it though. But I definitely had better

Cafe Bahar is my go to Indian food restaurant. Love their butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, and cheese naan but to be honest I've been happy with all other dishes. On top of that, staff is always delightful.

Before going to the review on food, I would definitely appreciate this restaurant's way of treating customers. It was a busy week day and we were there at this restaurant almost at the closing time, but the people inside had welcomed us in a very decent way and waited until we had completed our dinner, even after the closing time. Thanks for their patience.😊
Regarding the food, one will definitely love it. Though we missed the tandoori fish fry, we have tried a lot of items like 'Godavari Royyala Vepudu'(shrimp fry)😍, Chilli fish, then Desi chicken noodles, a plate of Poori -aloo curry(absolutely

Have tried this a couple of times now :)

I dint have a great experience with their Indo Chinese food here, but their South Indian dishes are good!

Ulwachalu Chicken 5/5 - We get this everytime and it's quite delicious.

Onion Pakoda 4.5/5 - Can be a little less greasy but the flavors are amazing

Dal 5/5 - This is our soul food

Our usual take out from Cafe Bahar includes Dal rice, Ulwachalu Chicken, Chole and Onion Pakoda.

Indo Chicken - 3/5 As mentioned before dint find Indo Chinese that appealing. We got it only once though.

Just had the food once but once was enough to impress me .. :)
The best food I have had in a while and that to 'to go' which is hit and miss most often than not ..

Their goat curry was excellent and the tandoori chicken followed those lines too .. my friends (who live nearby) swear by this place and I am sure that the food is excellent almost all of the time.

Actually, I picked the order myself and the place is huge too .. too bad it was mostly 'take away orders' but I would love to dine in as well ..
Will return whenever I get a chance ..

Yummy!! I found this place on Uber Eats at the start of the pandemic and I've been a loyal customer since. Such great flavors, serving sizes and service! Can't wait until their buffet is open- it looks like a great restaurant on the inside from when I've gone to pick up my food. Personally I have never eaten inside (cause of COVID ya know). My favorites are the butter chicken, jeera rice, and their onion pakora. Delicious spice blends used. Worth a try!

Cafe Bahar is a welcome and refreshing addition to the otherwise mediocre indian food scene in the area. We picked up a bunch of food from here on a busy saturday evening, and the taste and quality is excellent.
The restaurant is pretty spacious and warmly decorated, but they're only doing takeout and delivery currently.

We had been recommended their biryanis, and were not disappointed. We tried two of their biryanis, and they were flavorful and fresh. Their entrees were pretty good as well, specially the kofta. We also had their kadai paneer, which weirdly tasted a little like chilli paneer

I came here because Groupon had a good deal on this place. We came in expecting the thalis the owner told us they no longer serve Thalis.

I ended up ordering the hariyali chicken tikka, chicken 65 and the chicken curry. Everything was just ok, nothing amazing. Some of the food was salty and the hariyali kebab seemed to be just chicken tikka with mint rubbed on it.

Ok for a one time visit in Kirkland but I won't be visiting again in a hurry.

We went for the weekend special that is thaali. We ordered the non-veg thaali and were surprised to see the number of items on it! They also offered lime juice which was my favorite. Even better, everything was unlimited! The food was served on a banana leaf on a square steel plate. Their poppadums are the best ! They had mutton, chicken and fish curry. They had chicken Manchurian as an appetizer. The desserts we're a tad bit too sweet so taking away a star for that. They provide bottled water which is kinda nice. The ambience is nothing extraordinary but that didn't bother me since I

Weekend thali is where it's at Cafe Bahar!

We came here for the weekend thali special that they only serve during brunch hours on the weekends. The thali special consists of multiple small dishes, filled with different curries and dishes and it's unlimited! There is a non-vegetarian and vegetarian option, so it was a great place for us to go with one of of our friends who is a vegan.

We were seated immediately on a Sunday and one of the servers came by to explain the thali special on the weekends. Menu items change every weekend, but they always have the same kind of protein for
