I ordered the pierogies and they were very good. The sauerkraut was unique and the bacon was rich. Loved the sour cream. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star is because they only come with 4 and for $13 I think it's a bit steep considering you could get a burger or sandwich for the same price.

We ate here while in town, the Irish spring rolls were excellent, and so was the salmon BLT with tater tots. I would definitely come back!! Such a nice atmosphere, and enjoyable to eat at.

Perfect atmosphere, friendly bartender, food was amazing. I think I need to move closer so I can work my way through the menu. When you go (not if, when) get the Reuben chowder.

It's okay--generally very quiet except while there are event on across the street. Even happy hour is quiet by Albany standards. So if that's what you want, this is your place. Either fish and chips are fine.

Nice place to eat before a show at the Egg or Time Union Center. Convenient location. Quick, decent Irish pub food.

A cozy place for drinks and Irish fare. It was good enough to warrant a return. I had the salmon and salad, my co-worker had the fish sandwich. Go early ad it does get busy at lunch

Good place for a meal and a drink before a show at the Egg. Also stop by after the show. The place has a nice neighborhood vibe. The beer selections are well curated. It's been a while since we were there but I recall our dinner selections were good.

A great little surprise for me
Very good bar down in the city
The Guinness is just like home and the fish and chips were some of the best I have had in a long time
But the best part is the staff and patrons
They are wonderful and very friendly
This place is a real gem
I travel all over the world for work and this place made a big impression on me
I will be back

Awesome bar with great beer selection. Noticed locals were here so it must be good. Ordered Bangars and Mash. More mash than bangars. Friendly crew.

Went downstairs to the bar area. It's an Irish pub so the selections were what you'd expect from a respectable place that cares about quality. I had a Southern Tier IPA and checked out the menu which seemed to be created with passion for cooking and a creativity that would scream to you, "Hey!!! You came to the right place tonight, my friend!!" I ordered the Irish Egg Rolls which were fried goodness with 3 separate fillings: Guinness Mac n Cheese, Corned Beef & Cabbage, and Beef Stew. Each with a homemade dipping sauce. Hot, fresh, and delicious! I had the Irish BLT afterwards

Food was okay, wasn't what I ordered but since my meal came after my table was done eating I ate it anyways. 3 out of 8 meals were missing and they came to re-take our order after the first 5 were delivered... We switched waitresses mid meal and the second one was doing everything she could to keep up but they were just too understaffed on concert night.

Long wait, great service! We were looking for someplace to eat quickly before a show at the Egg. The staff quickly cleaned up the table, turned down the volume on the speaker over our head apologized for not getting our appetizers out for 1/2 hour, then treated us kindly and took them off the bill! Unnecessary, but appreciated. It's a cordial local business, we'll be back!

This is a great pub that has food you would expect to find at a fine restaurant. I just had the 42 burger. It's a handmade burger with thick sliced bacon, cheddar cheese and an egg on top. It has to be the best burger around. On a prior visit I had a grilled salmon over a salad that was also memorable. This is a hidden gem.

Just tried this last Friday. First time. Not sure what took me so long, especially after reading the reviews. Not bad. Was in a rowdy group, so can't quit remember all details, but the drinks and food were fine. Need to go back again, spend a little more time, and maybe post an update. Would like to have given it 4 stars, but food took a long time, and it wasn't really crowded, especially for Friday night. Waitress was nice, and very tolerating of some of my friends which were a little loud. Food did come out piping hot fresh, and the plates we had were very good. Maybe why it

Restaurant experience from hell. Food is terrible, but the service is worse. First, they make me and my SO wait for fifteen minutes past when our reservation was for, yet there were empty tables. The waitress would disappear for twenty minutes at a time, SEVERAL times. It wasn't even busy. The shepherd's pie was so bland, cold, and disgusting, and my SO's mac'n cheese was freezing cold and tasted like milk. I've had shepherd's pie almost any chance I get, and this was the worst. The Reuben chowder was actually pretty good, but not enough to give it another star. The worst part was the "Guinness

I went to try the Irish breakfast. I gotta say it was as good as it looked . The bacon was cold which was surprising. But everything else was great! Loved the thick slices of marble rye. The service was interesting. She was straight to the point. A little cold for a lack of better words. She did recognize customers but didn't offer any small chit chat. But some people like that. My daughter had the burger and FF's, and by the looks of it, she enjoyed it all. I do want to go back to try the monti crisco that looked delish!

I have had their food several times, always as a to-go order. Usually, I order a sandwich. While the food tastes great and the service time is fine, the prices are in my opinion very high. Perhaps if I was eating in I could understand it, but not for take-out when I am picking it up myself.

I was in last night with a group of friends for the first time. We sat upstairs and had a table for 8. Our waitress, I'm not sure of her name, had a horrible attitude. She was incredibly rude the entire time. She definitely knew her stuff as far as what was on the menu, what soups were available, etc., but she seemingly had no personality. A friend of mine said that she's had this same woman as a bartender before and that's just how she is. I wish I had caught her name. She said a couple of snotty things to us and people at other tables, literally threw the oyster crackers at my

It's a small basement bar. That being said, I had the BEST Corned Beef Ruben with home made chips I've ever had in 47 years. Karen the bar tender poured a nice vodka. Highly Recommend if you're in the Capital City.

I've been here a few times and have had mixed experiences.

The restaurant is two levels. You can sit at the bar downstairs or at a table in the dining room upstairs. I prefer to sit downstairs because it has a more lively atmosphere and better service.

During the week there are happy hour specials ($1 off draft beers plus a few others that I can't remember) and sometimes they have live music.

I've had a few of the burgers and the steak salad. The burgers are all pretty solid. The tots are salty, so I'd go with the chips as your side. Once the steak salad was perfection and
