We welcome you into a partnership meant to assist in telling your story, learning your voice, making peace, and finding inner strengths to use in the healing process. We know it takes courage to call us, and we promise to meet you with compassion and encouragement. Life is in balance when our relationships are "working."

While perfection in a relationship is unrealistic, joy emerges when couples learn how to address concerns without blame or escalation. When you feel your partner trying, an intimate reconnection is easier to achieve. Families encounter many challenges and changes once kids arrive, and those changes continue as they grow!
Services
Opened in 1993, Arbor was originally designed to serve Omaha's families. In addition to helping families, we quickly grew as a provider of services to corporations and school systems. As a testimony to our service, these two divisions grew at the request of our customers. Our mission at Arbor is to give people the tools to create solutions for living healthy, productive lives within their circle of influence.
Through the counseling process, our goal is that you will be encouraged, challenged, and empowered to be your best self. It is amazing what positive changes people can make when they feel safe and comfortable, and we strive to provide an environment that encourages that feeling of warmth. It takes courage to explore your thoughts and feelings with another person, and you deserve a space that welcomes you without judgement.
Though telehealth has soared in demand recently, Arbor has offered these virtual services for at least five years. All of our counselors offer telehealth in a safe, confidential manner. With our many counselors who keep differing schedules, it is easy to find a telehealth appointment at a time convenient for you.
When it comes to helping clients, our front desk is both responsive and savvy! They are interested in your concerns, and are good at finding the best match for you on our counseling team. When you call in for help or email us, they will respond quickly and, if you do schedule a session, will help you sign up for the Arbor client portal.
Many individuals seek therapy at some point in their lives, especially in times of turmoil. We welcome you into a partnership meant to assist in learning your voice, telling your story, hearing yourself, making peace with what you have been pushing away, expanding your courage, and finding your strengths to use in the healing process.

They are so kind and accommodating. I am extremely happy with the care I have received!
For those people leaving 1 star?
Counseling is a process. There is no cure.
Counseling helps you cope to live a better life.
It doesn’t happen in one session. Sometimes you have to go back in order to move forward. When I say go back I mean give some history to your counselor.
If one counselor isn’t for you try another. Don’t rate every counselor based on your 1visit.
It is different for everyone.
Give them a chance before rating them poorly.
I happened to get lucky on my first try.

Not a place I recommend for anyone. I think they are just there to collect money. And you bring things up to their attention; they don’t want to be brought into it and they tip toe around. At least Jeff and Janet do. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. Wish I could give it a zero

In our first meeting the the counselor Maureen, she had my son in her room alone and went through his phone without consent. She read text messages and listened to voicemails. He is a minor child. Super unprofessional and would NOT recommend them to anyone. She apologized to me for violating trust after she singled my son out and went through his phone. Do yourself a favor and find a counselor will to make clients comfortable and able to trust them, after all, that is what we pay them for.
