Services
Dr. Ryan Bateman is a Utah native and has been practicing here since 2008. He graduated from Utah State University and then attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas for dental school where he graduated with honors. Dr. Dirk Lighthall is a Weber High School and Weber State University graduate.
After attending Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry he returned home to complete a Residency in General Dentistry at the University of Utah.Our hygienists are a key asset to our team and take great care of our patients and keep the dentists operating as efficiently as possible. I called Wednesday morning letting my dentist and his staff know that I could feel an abscess. Requested antibiotics and asked if I could be seen. Their response was minimal. They did call in amoxicillin and when I called back to let them know that I would need a stronger antibiotic than that, their answer was “gotta start somewhere”. When I asked if they had any emergency appointments available the answer was not until Thursday. They want me to go an entire week?! This bad of an abscess could lead to pericarditis or sepsis!!!

Great dental office for the entire family in a great location. Dr. Ryan Bateman and his staff work so well with kids. Even my 2 year old had a great experience. They are thorough and always serve the patient in their best interest. Thank you for another great family visit! We always look forward to coming to our appointments.

These guys made me feel welcome, relaxed and a part of the family. Called then with a tooth ache, got me right in - within 2 hours, and left knowing what the plan was to address, a temporary solution to keep me in comfort and an experience well beyond any recent dental visit in the past couple of years.
Don’t hesitate! Call them if you are looking for a fantastic Atmosphere, wonderful team of knowledgeable and friendly people, and place to genuinely feel your needs are important!

This was my first time at Mountain View Dental. The front desk staff were welcoming and polite. The hygienist (Chelsy) did a fabulous job! She felt naturally personable while at the same time very professional. Dr. Frost was in and out quickly, but it didn't feel rushed. I am so excited to have found a new dentist office where I feel comfortable and cared about.

Mountain View Dental is an excellent dentist office. They are in a new facility that is very clean and nice. The entire staff is very friendly and courteous. I have been in there multiple times and I have not had a bad experience. My kids also go there and have had no problems. I also like this dentist office because they are flexible with payment plans. I would recommend this dentist to anyone.
