Mizu Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi

Very good food. Service not so much. We were a group of 13 so called ahead to make reservations but when we got there we're told there is a group ahead of us that have been waiting longer so we would have to wait 10-15 mins. Waiter seemed a bit frazzled to take orders between the two grills. Our chef was great very personable gave an enjoyable experience. At the other grill the chef was rushing and didn't provide much of a show which is disappointing since that is where most of the kids sat. We never got refills for our drinks and had to go get our own boxes. Lots of food and delicious

DO NOT GO HERE! Never have I experienced such horrible customer service. A table that sat after us was asked if they were ready to order before we were. After seeing this, we told the server we were ready to order and he walked away to another table to ask for their order. Extremely rude and disrespectful!! We then asked another server if they could take our order and they just walked around the restaurant looking for someone else to take our order?? Definitely not how I expected to be treated.

I love Mizu! I've been there for lunch a handful of times and I'll keep going back. I typically get the bento box with teriyaki chicken, shrimp shumai (dumplings), rice and your choice of sushi roll. Plus it comes with miso soup and a small salad with ginger sesame dressing. The service is kind of slow but the food makes up for it. The food is always good quality and has great flavor.

We had a wonderful first time experience! Great staff, clean location, and great food! We had the sushi along with the hibachi grill- no complaints! Will be returning!

The food itself was excellent! However; the cleaning practices were very unsafe and potentially could lead to permanent injury. Upon all of the food being distributed to the table, the chef proceeded to clean the grill with an ice-water solution and a lemon juice solution to follow. My husband and I were sitting in the far corner at the end of the table where the solution was first sprayed, because the grill is presumably over 400 degrees the solution popped onto his arms (almost like a grease pan) and my face, approximately 2 centimeters away from my eyes, landing on both sides of the bridge of

I stood at the entrance nobody was acknowledging me. I asked this young man behind the counter and he would just stare back like I don't know if he speaks or what he never answered my question. Then I guess this other guy comes over he's the one seating patrons. I repeated to him what I asked the other guy and he sat me down to a table. About 5 minutes later a server comes and takes my drink and comes right back to take my order. I had the samari, Mexican and California roll. The sushi was served maybe 10-15 minutes later. The kids had competition and we didn't want fast food!! Oh em gee!! The food was outstanding!! We love Japanese!! Our family is pretty much obsessed!! So we know Japanese food well!! First things first we did make a reservation.

We sat at a table, but we were all able to order Tepan lunch menu. I had shrimp and steak. Very well seasoned and food came out fast!!

Was happy to find this place later in the evening to satisfy a sushi craving. The restaurant is not large, and we were immediately seated. The menu did a great job explaining each roll. We ordered a few rolls, sashimi, and side salads. The Mizu Roll stood out the most and were impressed with the flavor. The Flaming Roll had a fun presentation but not so much taste. We were in the dining area, which is separated from the hibachi. There were many people enjoying that as well. We left happy and satisfied, and will return to try the hibachi.

We went at 3pm on a Monday so they weren't very busy. We were seated right away and served immediately with our drinks. The hibachi was delicious. Combined, we had the steak, salmon, chicken, and shrimp and it was all cooked so well and full of flavorful. The chef was nice and put on a great show for the kids. I'd definitely come back!!

Terrible service. I should have known when I walk in a Japanese steakhouse you would expect some tea, nevertheless the only tea is green tea. Secondly, the seafood soup for 2 was bland and warm, not hot and flavorful. Maybe they missed the fish sauce. Our shrimp tempura came out first with no serving plates. This area deserves better such as what we have in St. Cloud or Lake Nona. My main course Yaki soba is terribly missing that authentic taste. I could have gotten Singapore noodles from a Chinese takeout and not no the difference. We saw our server only 2x and to ask for plates and sweetener

Great place for lunch or dinner. Chef was fabulous and our family thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate! Service was great! Food was excellent. From the lobster roll, to the hibachi steak, filet mignon, chicken and soup and salad YUMMMMY

My daughter and I decided to catch some lunch. She got her usual chicken hibachi. I got two rolls one. Spicy tuna and the other salmon. Both were great. Next time I'll order sake

Great service. Great food. Our waitress was very patient with the complainers sitting behind us. She and the sushi chef also accommodated a special order roll I wanted without charging me extra. I recommend this restuarant.

Craving some sushi we decided to come here for our usual sushi boat or "mizu boat" for 2. Food was good and flavors were good as well. We also ordered the shrimp tempura. Service seemed a little slow and the restaurant didn't seem too busy but they did seem short staffed.

We had heard good things about this place; so we decided to give it a try. I made reservations the day before. We arrived around 6pm, we were a group of 10.
When we arrived our table was not ready. The lobby is small, so it was a little tight for our group, since there was other party waiting. We waited for almost 10 minutes.
The host escorted us to our table.
The server was waiting us with our menus. We order wine and drinks; And as soon As we decided what to eat, the show ( cooking) started.
The prices are reasonable, not any different from Kobe's.

Located in the Best Buy strip mall across from the Loop Shopping center in Kissimmee, this unassuming restaurant on the corner seems to be very popular for birthday celebrations and was very busy on the Thursday we visited. Of course its dinner and a a show. The meal started with miso broth and a simple iceberg salad with ginger dressing, after a while the chef comes out and start cooking, but not before a brief comedy routine that includes hurling a fake egg, juggling the spatula and an onion volcano., it was all very entertaining. My grandson loves hibachi and found this close by so decided to try it out. We didn't site grill side just ordered at a table. Got a sushi roll, and chicken kids hibachi and adult steak meals.
Pros:
Kids meal was $11.99 and almost the same serving size as the adult, just minus the salad
Chicken was tasty
Got 2 grilled shrimp included which were awesome
Soup was great
Veggies were good but chopped very small

Cons:
Salad was horrible
Lacked flavor on the noodles and rice
Steak was OK
Ginger sauce was awful

For the value compared to the larger chains was decent if he wanted it again

Solely off of the lunch special I ordered (to go, not even sitting in), I have to give this place 5 stars! Filet Mignon hibachi lunch special for $14.95 was excellent: huge portions, great filet quality and taste. I bet if I went for a sit-down, the quality would be just as great, if not better.

I was astonished that the lunch menu and price would have such good quality filet mignon!! The lunch came with a realy tasty mushroom clear soup, side salad with dressing, a huge huge huge helping of fried rice, and delicious filet mignon and quality grilled vegetables.
