Mariela has been photographing us since our daughter was still in my belly! From maternity pictures, to newborn, to 6 months, to now at 2 years, Mariela has wonderfully captured every stage. We will be able to remember these stages forever with her timeless, artistic work. She has met us at various parks around town and we have also done two sessions in her very comfortable and lovely home studio.

This is the time to freeze those special moments of your babies and family that you will cherish forever - you want to be able to remember everything about your newborn; the wrinkled skin, the little toes, the smile, and that unique personality that shines through the eyes of your baby. At Mariela Duval Photography in Atlanta, Georgia, we use a camera to help you capture and document those precious moments and emotions.
My goal is to create timeless images that tell your story. Are you celebrating a new addition to your family and are looking for maternity and newborn photos? Or are you interested in family pictures to document this stage in your life? We can serve you at either our home studio located in Sandy Springs, Ga and serving the metro Atlanta area or we can photograph on location.
I offer newborn, family, children and maternity photography services. Most photo sessions take 1-2 hours, whereas pictures for newborn takes 3-4 hours, as I want to make sure we allow time for feeding and cuddling and moved at baby's paced.
When you contact me, we will discuss the type of photography session you are looking for, how you want to be photographed, what you and/or your newborn will wear, the type of products you wish to order, and pricing.The session fee, which is due at time of booking, covers the time and talent of the photographer.

One of the most wonderful ways to celebrate the start of a new chapter in your life is with a newborn photography session. We truly believe that it is so important to document those fleeting moments when your baby is so little - they grow up so fast. It will help you remember their wrinkled skin, their soft skin, their little toes, and their unique personality that shines through even from the beginning.
I love photographing the connection in families. My typical family photo session, which takes 1-2 hours, takes place at a location of your choice in Atlanta or in my home studio located in Sandy Springs. For outdoor pictures, we would meet either late in the afternoon or in the morning or anytime during the day if in the studio.

We initially booked a session with her but our daughter wasn't cooperative on that particular day.We received our pictures but we didn't like them not because of her skills but because our daughter wasn't having it.Miss Mariela agreed to redo the pictures again.She has been very gracious to me and my family as we wanted to capture the best moments of our little munchkin.I highly recommend her services.

Mariela took stunning photographs of my family and had incredible patience with my wild young children. She managed to capture both of their personalities in such natural ways. On the business side of things, she was responsive and professional in all interactions. Definitely recommend her for your family and/or newborn photography needs (she also photographed my 2nd baby when he was born).

I had the best experience imaginable with Mariela! She was an absolute dream to work with. I had never worked with a professional photographer (outside my wedding) and she was so warm and made me feel extremely comfortable. She has an amazing eye and gives great direction. Mariela was great!!!! She’s a great photographer and a wonderful person. I planned to do my maternity shoot with her and I had to schedule twice due to complications with my pregnancy and she was very accommodating each time and I was unable to do my shoot because baby girl came early but she schedule my newborn shoot right away and the pictures were so breath taking that I wanted to purchase every last one!!! She was so good with my baby everything was very smooth. She was even great with my older kids a s my kids enjoyed being around her. Book her ASAP!!! She is such a great photographer!!
