I called to see if they took my insurance, they told me they did, but failed to mention they werent in-network. I guess it's my fault for not knowing how insurance works. Them being "professionals" I didn't think they would take advantage of someone, but I was wrong. Now left with a $150 bill after insurance for a cleaning and xrays. They took off $100 after I called to express my concerns.

I will give it 5 stars for my last two visits. My husband referred me to them because of his wonderful experience and after going to another place I thought I would try them. Sure enough he was in point! Clean, courteous, efficient, professional and friendly. I also left my favorite coffee mug there and they saved it for me for a month!

Dr Merkley and Diya or Diana (not sure ) were awesome… They eased my anxiety and gave me knowledge and options for everything…. Very well spoken and informative … You can tell they enjoy the job… The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and polite .. Awesome experience and my new permanent dentist !!

When I was looking for a family dentist, I wasn't sure where to go, especially due to the fact we had just moved to Toledo from another state without any referrals. However for the past four years, Hires Dental Care has treated my family like family, and my children absolutely love coming to the dentist. First I have to say that I HATE dental work. I have SEVERE anxiety!!!! I came to Hires after years of not being to a dentist.... I knew I would need an extraction due to my tooth already being half filling/half tooth from forever ago and the fact that the filling was severely broken down and I had immense pain. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted very warmly and professionally! I waited maybe 2 minutes before being called back to get started with xrays, then the extraction.
