Services
Often referred to as a filling, a composite restoration is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. When Dr. Pitcock completes a composite restoration, he first removes the decayed tooth structure, cleans the affected area, and then fills the cleaned out cavity with a filling material.
I obtained my dental degree from The University of Louisville School of Dentistry after earning my undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University. My wife, Amber, and I recently celebrated the birth of our son, John Luke. In addition to being an active member of my church, I enjoy playing golf, working on my family farm, and spending time with family and friends.
She has over ten years of experience in the dental field. Liz is knowledgeable in all aspects of your dental insurance and treatment planning. She takes pride in greeting everyone she meets with a friendly smile, and looks forward to meeting you and making your visit to the dentist comfortable. Outside of work, Liz enjoys being outdoors with her 2 beautiful daughters.
Our office goal is to provide an individually tailored comprehensive treatment plan to each patient based on the doctor's diagnosis and the individual patient's personal goals for their oral health. We encourage patients to be as involved as they want to be in their dental care, and to ask any questions that may arise during, or after, their visit.

Dr Pitcock and his staff are amazing. I felt like family from my first call to schedule an appointment to establish care. I have never been to an office where everyone was efficient, kind, welcoming and professional. Dr Pitcock snd Western Kentucky Dental is definitely my dental home. My Mom and friends have already said they are switching to Dr Pitcock too. Highly recommend. I’m in the medical field and trust this office entirely. Best dentist and staff I’ve encountered in my 55 years.

My son has been a patient for several years now. But since last June western KY dental has yet to answer when I call or return a call since all I have gotten is voicemail for 6 months! It was easier during the first part of covid to get an appointment than it is now! Thank you now my son is behind on cleanings and we have to find a new dentist!

My husband and I recently made an appointment with Maggie and Dr.Pittcock the office has a very nice atmosphere. They are both very understanding and have a lot of patience. Our teeth look and feel amazing! I also made an appointment for my son he is 4 and on the Autism Spectrum. I loved the way Maggie understood him. She got down to his level and was extremely patient to where he let her brush his teeth and even check them with the mirror! Truly outstanding service and welcoming atmosphere from everyone!

I had a wonderful experience with Maggie (the hygienist) and Dr. Pitcock! They were both so professional, patient, and kind. I loved the atmosphere of the office and the TV in the exam room helped make everything feel a little more comfortable. I would happily recommend this office to anyone searching for a new dentist.
