Dr Jane Skuben

This office is AMAZING! They got me in quickly for an urgent problem eventhough I was a new patient. Dr.Skuben was GREAT! She helped with my Dental Anxiety and and was able to go thru a Deep Cleaning with no hesitation, no rush eventhough it was close to lunch time. I never felt rushed to get "out of the chair" Then when I was referred to a emergent referral to a oral surgeon the Staff was on top of it, made sure I knew I had different options. They were kind, professional and had wonderful communication. Very clean and up to date on COVID Protocol. Cannot say enough good things.

Dr. Jane Skuben was my dentist many years ago. Since then, I've lived overseas and on the East Coast. I never met her equal for gentleness, skill and integrity. Now I'm so glad to be back and see the familiar faces (although masked) of people who have worked with her for decades, as well as seeing Dr. Skuben herself. It's such a relief to be able to relax and know she'll do her best work. It feels like coming home.

Dr. Skuben and her staff are amazing! My son is usually pretty nervous about his dentist visit, but they put him right at ease. I'm so glad that we found them.

I've been keeping this to myself for awhile now. As much as I recommended it 4 months ago, after having my crown replaced...my opinions changed.

First off, this place is OVERPRICED. I wasn't aware because I'm new to the area and this one is close to my place. There are so many places around that have great reviews and great price. You might wanna check those out first.

Second, my CONFIDENCE was ruined. I had my front crowns done and I don't know what happened but they were much bigger than the temporary ones. Since then

The office is clean! The dentists are thorough and straight forward about the work that needs to be done according to the order of importance. The staff is professional and personable. I’ve tried other dentists because this office was out of network for my insurance but I decided to end my insurance and pay out of pocket to get quality work.

Cookie enthusiastically helped me this morning with getting an appointment. What great service and assistance!!! Since it was my first time at Dr. Skuben's clinic I am optimistic at going to my appointment.

Does anyone actually....enjoy...going to the dentist? I won't say it's ever fun, but I will say that Dr. Hoang makes it the most bearable it could possibly be. He is kind, gentle, and best of all, he explains EVERYTHING he's doing as it happens. It can be really scary to have a bunch of instruments buzzing around your face with no idea what's going on, yet he put me at ease. He is very calming and non judgmental, even with my wonky teeth that are quite embarrassing.

Corky in the front office is really helpful and has been so flexible with my scheduling.

I'm so blessed to have found Dr. Skuben (my neighbor recommended me to her).
I'm plagued with severe dental issues due to medications I have to take for a health problem.
She was so kind and understanding, I've had so many bad experiences with these Brea Dentists who try and dazzle you with their over the top ridiculous equipment and big screen TV's. They are like that Monty Python sketch where the doctor says, "This is the machine that goes "Bing" it cost over $200 thousand dollars, aren't you lucky?" So apparently for new patients (told to me after the fact), they book your appointment and make you wait 30mins after said appointment time to account for paperwork.

I always show up early because that is how normal doctors/dental offices do is say come 15-30 mins early to do paperwork. So i came @ 11:55am for a 12:30pm appointment. I fill out paperwork. I was told at 12:35pm that the dentist was told i was here and paperwork is done and that my appointment is 12:30 and i will be see soon.

Then at 12:45 i was told by the office manager that the dentist went to lunch and its customary for new

Pros: Dr Huang is a perfect dentist. He should start his own office or move to a better practice.

Cons: Dr Skuben and all of the dental assistants will poke & cut your gums during routine cleanings. The billing lady will over charge you for everything. They will fight you because they don't want to reimburse you what they over charged you.
They will kick you out of the office after the 2nd time you get reimbursed for what they over charged you.

I can not say enough nice things about Dr. Skuben and her staff. They are professional and caring. Her office is state of the art and super clean.

I've been coming here for years & Dr. Huang is who I see. He's really patient & friendly & does great work. Cindy, his assistant is also really nice, as well as Corky, who runs the front office.

Excellent office located in Placentia. Friendly staff that will work to accommodate your needs. I needed 2 fillings, Dr. Wong did them both and I was out the door in 30 minutes. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.
