I cannot express my gratitude for all that Dr. Angela and Dr. Chris have done for our family and, specifically, for my daughter Claire. Dr. Angela is the office's resident nerd! She is dedicated to learning and being a master at rebooting kiddo's nervous systems. You'll most commonly see her on the floor of our toy room, adjusting kids where they are most comfortable. She loves public speaking and dedicated countless hours to educating parents on what if feels like to be inside the head of their struggling child.

Dr Angela and Dr. Chris are hands down the BEST when it comes to baby chiropractic care in Charleston. My little guy, around 5 months started having issues with nursing. He refused to nurse on one side and because of the many issues that brings, he also started having a very flat sided head. I’ve been seeing the doctors at NHC for a couple of years now. When I got pregnant, I knew that I would continue seeing them for my own benefit but had no idea how beneficial it would be for my baby! As this was my first pregnancy I expected the last few months to be super uncomfortable, but I wasn’t at all, and I thank my weekly adjustments for that! They were able to adjust my belly which helped with things like how I carried the baby and ensured the baby was in an optimal position for delivery. New Hope Chiropractic has been one of the best experience I have had before and during my pregnancy. As your body is going through so many changes, they listen to you and your body to help your feel more comfortable durning pregnacy and help prepare for an easier labor. Not only are they great for supporting your body durning pregnancy they are amazing with infants, babies, toddlers and kids. The Dixons are WONDERFUL! In my second trimester I moved to the low country and was quite miserable. Not just bc I was pregnant in July but mentally unhappy. Receiving care throughout my entire pregnancy (3rd) made such a difference! This time, I did not experience the Sciatic pain or lower back pain which had been debilitating in prior pregnancies. Their attentativeness and awareness through each stage was reassuring. I carried my baby full term, and had my easiest delivery. I attribute much of this to Drs Angela and Chris educating and adjusting at each step. I appreciated their focus on empowering me to listen and get to know my body in all its changes.

I could go on and on about how much I love this practice. I started getting adjusted when I was in my 3rd trimester of my 3rd pregnancy with a breech baby and excruciating hip pain that was only getting worse. After regular adjustments, my baby flipped head down and I had my easiest and fastest delivery of all 3 of my babies despite it being my largest baby by almost a full pound.
I also found relief from my hip pain and felt BETTER in the last 5 weeks of pregnancy than I had for months beforehand.

Dr. Angela and Dr. Chris are two of the smartest, kindest and talented practitioners I know. I am doing SO WELL in their wellness program right now. I am changing by leaps and bounds. I will say, I have had a lot of chiropractic care in my life but their approach and program has helped me immensely. I have NEVER done 3 adjustments in a week for weeks but it's making a HUGE difference. It's well worth the time and money to invest in your health. I swear by it and I'm an acupuncturist so I'm VERY picky about who works on me. They are both the real deal.

We love New Hope Chiropractic and are so excited to have Dr. Angela and Dr. Chris work on our daughter's wellness plan. One of our twins has experienced walking and sensory delays due to her position in utero and after her first visit, she was visibly calmer and more herself.
