My first time at this place. The pulled pork sandwich is amazing but the macaroni?!?!? I’m not really into it? Did you guys make it with eggs. Macaroni is my favorite side smh. No cheese. Something is wrong with the yams but I can’t even put my finger on it. Smh I don’t think I’ll eat there again

I want to give this place 5 stars so bad. The staff is awesome and super friendly and they have a line as soon as they open. I believe I've been spoiled by competition BBQ places in NC and SC so I have expectations that they aren't meeting. For a BBQ place in this area I will say it's good. The ribs are by far there best dish with the right amount of smokiness. As for the brisket the couple times I've had it, it's been more fat then meat but the flavor has been on point. If you decide to get the Mac and cheese it's a hit or miss. You'll either get bland or perfect

Great ribs and chicken - a local favorite of locals who know Chicken and Florida BBQ ribs - authentic Florida fare. Food was so liked in the area they moved in to larger upscale premises a couple years ago . Pickup and phone ahead . Have on the lot bbq too. The nearby McDonalds now has more flavor from the drifting smoke.

This place is located off Federal Hwy in Boynton Beach. There is a small parking lot but enough space. I posted the current menu and hours of operation (see photos). Apparently they have all you can eat ribs on Tuesday for $15.95. I will need to check that out. We got the pulled chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese (see photo) both were great. The sandwich could have been bigger. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pretty crazy to me that this place has 4 stars. For ~$35 i got the rib and brisket combo with mac and beans. You would think that this would be a decent amount of food. To start.. the place is run down, no ownership inside just a bunch of carefree people with no real ambition to make it a welcoming experience. The food it's self was average at best, the ribs didn't have a ton of meat and the bone was splintered several times ruining a few bites. The brisket was good but a few pieces left a lot to be desired. The mac and cheese was cold and flavorless, and the beans i enjoyed even though

I am a Kansas City BBQ judge. Having said that I was looking forward to having a genuine BBQ dinner today. I had seen Troy's BBQ on Federal and was hoping to get a good meal of real ribs. Not the baked ribs you get in most restaurants. However, I have never, eaten such poor excuse for BBQ in my life. The ribs were gristly, not meaty, and contained cartilage. I was actually embarrassed to serve these to my wife. McDonalds next door had a line of 10 cars out front. Troy's had One. With good reason.

Thus far I’ve tried the chicken and brisket and they did not disappoint.
My family and and I fell in love with the sauce and definitely bout two bottles to keep at the house.

Moving from Texas to Florida are BBQ standards are pretty high. After trying almost half a dozen localBBQ places we had almost given up. But I was fortunate to see a billboard ad for Troy's off of I-95 and decided to give it a try. While it may not be the holy grail of BBQ it certainly was the best we have tasted in Florida.
My wife and I went for the lunch specials. She ordered the Pulled Pork lunch and I the Rib lunch. Each special came with the entree, a side and a drink. My wife enjoyed the ample helping of tasty pulled pork with sweet sauce. I enjoyed the moist and flavorful ribs.

I always buy from this place and it’s always delicious but today my food came and the candied yums were so dry and nothing was fresh including Mac and Cheese. I think they just warmed up yesterday’s left overs and served them to me since I was probably the first person to order( around 11:30am). I would probably buy again but not too early next time.

My fiance and I visited Troy's Bar-be-que yesterday for the very first time. I would have to say we were very impressed and very pleased with our meal. (whole slab of pork ribs, half chicken, mac & cheese, collard greens and potato salad). Everything was delicious!! Definitely had more than enough food to consumed and brought leftovers home :o)). Thank you ALL for an amazing experienced. Most definitely will visit again - soon !!

So I'm from San Diego California and I wanted bbq and we came through the drive Thur order $100 or more in food asked for Sauce on the side didn't receive any sauce on the side We ordered a slab of ribs 12 pieces of corn bread two french fries Brisket and pulled pork combo plate with mac & cheese and coleslaw receive the mac & cheese no coleslaw didn't receive 12 pieces of cornbread either I will find another barbecue place next time I come to Florida tried to call them as well no answer.!!!!!!!!

We selected Troy's BBQ to host a medium sized family gathering. The food was delicious and the staff was super nice and friendly. We appreciate all of the TLC that was shown in taking care of everyone. Excellent brisket and BBQ along with tasty southern side dishes and delicious desserts. If you haven't tried Troy's, you're missing out.

At this venue, you order your food at the counter. A giant menu is on the wall as you enter.
Servers greet you behind a glass partition where they portion out the food you choose. We each ordered a sandwich that came with one side. My husband chose collards to go with his pulled pork sandwich. To go with my chicken sandwich, I chose cole slaw and added a Mac and Cheese. You can't have barbecue without it. We both had Iced Tea as well.

You would think the prices that are charged he would at least get good service and not a crappy attitude from the staff. I also started going to Troy’s when they were on Federal highway. I support family owned businesses but to an extent. This place has gone downhill it’s unfortunate because it doesn’t cost anything to have a good attitude and be nice to your customers that are paying outrageous prices for what is now decent food. $20 for a half rack of ribs and two sides is expensive and wasn’t worth it between the attitude from the drive-through worker to not even having

Wow what a hidden gem! Don't let the building trick you. This is the real deal BBQ. If you go by the drive thru you'll see Gregory the pitmaster smoking the meat. Everything we had was great.
The rib lunch special for $11.20 was 5 ribs and fries. The ribs were rubbed down with all the right spices and smoked tenderly to melt in your mouth.
The pulled pork sandwich had the most amazing smoke and texture. It was perfect for dipping in their tangy sauce. They have regular, sweet, and spicy.

First timer here. I came here about 3 hours before closing and they were sold out of quite a few sides so i was kind of disappointed but it can be expected sometimes at bbq restaurants. I liked the drive thru option. I ended up ordering the rib dinner with a side of fries and baked beans (next time I'll come super early to try their Mac and yams). I was asked what type of sauce i wanted. I didn't know that meant the sauce they put on the ribs (i thought it would've been on the side). But the sauce was really tasty so that was a good thing. I got sweet. The ribs were really tough

The owner lives in my boyfriend's neighborhood and when he makes the food it is flawless. I insisted on visiting this place and I would not recommend ordering online, picking up after 4pm, or visiting during peak hours. The restaurant needs help.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese. Both were excellent. I also tried the collard greens but they were a little too salty for me. Fries were perfect and crispy, nice to order with a side of their homemade barbecue, both bbq flavors are delicious, I slightly prefer the original bbq sauce.Cole slaw was pretty good as well.
We ordered the banana pudding and red velvet for desert. Enjoyed both but prefer the pudding. The only complaint I had was the sweet tea and lemonade were WAY

I was going to order the pork plate but it was no longer on the menu so I quickly switched the brisket but they were out of the macaroni and cheese. The brisket was a little high at over $18 but I really wanted to give them a try.
