Most dental insurance plans cover 100% of a patient's preventive care, such as annual or semi-annual cleanings, x-rays and sealants. Basic procedures are treatments such as fillings and extractions are mostly covered at 80% with the patient being responsible for any yearly deductibles and a remaining 20%.
Other services are covered under insurance but the percentages do vary from policy to policy and some have limitations such as waiting periods. We strive to help each patient make the most of their insurance cover each year. We provide a full work up of any treatment that needs to be completed with an insurance estimate.

My service today was excellent. The people were friendly, my dental assistant and dentist were the best! Very friendly and very knowledgeable. Just a very comfortable time. They both took the time to talk about and explain different little things that I asked questions about. I had a great visit to Turnage Family Dentistry! They were prompt and courteous and thorough. I was seen by Ha (pronounced like hat without the t), and she was engaging and attentive. Their COVID mitigations were excellent, which helped me to feel more comfortable about having treatments during this tough time. They gave me a mirror which allowed me to see my teeth like I've never seen them before. I went in for X-rays and an exam, and I was out in less than an hour. I barely saw the waiting room at all! Overall it is a great experience, and I would recommend it to others!

The check-in process as a new patient went very smoothly! The staff was very nice, and I had a very sweet and talkative dental hygienist (which I personally love!). They did a great job cleaning my teeth and explaining what was causing my tooth pain. Dr. Turnage was very nice and explained what was going on! The whole visit was great overall and I definitely recommend this dentistry.

I love going to Turnage Family Dentistry. Their professionalism and knowledge mixed with their bedside manner make for a very good environment. Even my husband will go see them, and he is one of those deathly afraid of anyone working on his teeth. My daughter is special needs and they are wonderful with her as well. Highly recommend

They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that your comfortable and your needs are met. I have had several dental experiences in the past but none of them can compare to Dr. Turnage and her staff!!! I have had an anxiety with dentists for as long as I can remember. My first visit to Turnage dental was after I moved to the area and had missed a few cleanings. What prompted me to bite the bullet and schedule an appointment was a cavity. I was afraid I would feel judged or rebuked for the lapse in my cleanings, but the staff was so welcoming and kind. They made my first visit and cleaning so pleasant and when I came back for the filling they put my nerves at ease and even offered me a warm blanket! Turnage Family Dentistry is such an all around wonderful business. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and there was such a short wait time. Julianna is such a great hygienist. She went absolutely above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable with my experience. There are no hidden cost, they let you know your fees for your follow up visits ahead of time so that you are prepared. My last dentist appointment was a while ago and in just three visits she has absolutely transformed my oral health thus far.
