Art Perez has been in practice for over 20 years. Situated in the heart of Silicon Valley (Willow Glen). AP Accounting is an established business in the community. We distinquish our practice by working with the local community. We are a "community-based" accounting firm. We take pride in "Listening" to our clients and tailoring our wide range of services to clients' needs.
Our Firm offers a complete range of accounting services, including receivables, payables, and payroll management. We prepare financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for use by banks, investors, and other third parties. Our firm will also prepare custom financial reports for internal, managerial use.
Too many of us look upon Americans as dollar chasers. This is a cruel libel, even if it is reiterated thoughtlessly by the Americans themselves. Had a great experience with Art at AP Accounting. Typically, I do my own taxes on Turbotax but this year I got married and wanted a second set of eyes on my taxes.

Should have known better to get my taxes done by someone with tequila bottles all over his office. I work for a Union, so there's times when I work for more than one contractor in a year. Art didn't file paperwork for one contractor. And of course, I get fined by the IRS. He won't take the blame for his mistake, just tells me I have to pay it. He's all about bending rules to get you more money, but if it comes down to it, he won't stand by his work.

I am still waiting for my refund from last year.when I call the office to let them know that I was waiting on my federal refund and that it had not came a couple of months ago the secretary told me it was not their problem to call IRS I called last week and she said she will print out the paperwork and have it ready for me that week I had to call her back today and asked what happened she didn't know who I was she is very lost and unprofessional. They didn't fill out the tax papers correctly and because of that the IRS is charging me 700 hundred dollars after we were waiting for 7 months since we go to the ap accounting office to do our taxes. We went back to ask them to correct them and they are blaming me because they said I didn't send the documents the IRS asked me to send, I called to the IRS office and they said the papers were not filled out completely
and must be done again , and the ap account people is not accepting their unprofessional management

We were charged extra fees because Art made mistakes and has a bad memory. During our initial visit we were missing some info for our taxes and asked to email the info. We were asked to make payment after our visit (which we did) and told that we could pick up our return after we emailed him the missing info and he completed the forms. We emailed the info and received a call to pick up the completed forms. When we visited his office to pick up the forms Art hadn't actually completed the forms and we sat with him to make sure they were done properly. He then wanted to charge us for his services

Wouldn't send my worst enemy to do taxes with this individual. After getting taxes completed by him was audited. Then after he said he would represent me at audit, asked for $50 for parking to go to Oakland. When I balked at giving him more money, he said I could handle the audit myself. He told me the IRS rep are just people and everything would be fine.

Art has been doing our taxes for a few years now. My fiance and I have had nothing but the best of service at AP accounting. He always does an excellent job. When we arrive at his office we are able to kick back and watch a little tv while he finishes with another client. He always greets us with a smile and asks us how we are doing. The tax process is done swiftly and with his years of experience we have complete confidence in his ability to get them done right. We recommend this business and will continue to come here for his service.

The only thing I can figure with the bad reviews is that they're competitors writing false reviews. Arturo is the best! I've owned businesses for 20 years, and used many different people for my taxes and whatnot. He is FAR AND AWAY the best I've ever used.
I tell people I refer to him, just don't judge the book by it's cover. You'll meet him wearing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. If you care more about appearances than results, I guess he's not your guy. If you want great results, he is. Simple is that!

The problems began almost immediately. We attempted to hire him to file our quarterly payroll taxes. I have records that these were sent to him and he confirmed with me via phone that the forms were completed. We had to call his office and cell phone over 10x daily to urge him to meet IRS-required deadlines. Each time we called he said he'd have it ready in 30 minutes- an hour- end of day. Now I'm realizing he never did anything as I later received a notice from the IRS stating these forms were never filed. This was characteristic of my interaction with Art and his office.

I agree that this place is horrible. What a frikkin JOKE!! I've been going to this guy Art for several years and had no problem. I went to him again this year and he F*****D up my taxes. This idiot put someone else's account number on my tax returns only to have MY MONEY directly deposited into their account. HELLOOOOOOO, YOU GET PAID TO ENTER NUMBERS CORRECTLY......JUST SAYIN.....Art was conveniently on vacation, but he took my calls.
