At my law firm, I make sure that I handle every client's case with the time, attention, and energy that the case deserves. I was born in Burlington, but grew up in Mocksville, North Carolina. I attended college at UNC before going to Wake Forest for law school. I graduated from law school in 1995. After working for a law firm in Mocksville for almost two years, my wife and I chose Wilmington as the place where we wanted to start our lives together.
Since starting my law firm, I have worked very hard to achieve three goals for every client: providing quality and respectful legal assistance, charging a fair and reasonable legal fee, and always being available. My law firm has been open more than 10 years and I have been blessed with many satisfied clients.

Dean is the man to go to for traffic violations. He got my violations all the way down to a non moving violation of improper equipment. He was very professional and when I had questions he would answer right away. The pricing is the best I could find. I highly recommend Dean for anyone!

Availed Dean's services to tend a citation in Wilmington. When I called I got to him directly. He was very clear that I will not get any points on license or insurance based on my clean. On the court date He called and subsequently emailed me the details. Just as he promised.

I needed an attorney to handle a traffic ticket. Out of all the attorneys who sent letters to me, he called me personally. I had called other attorneys and left voice mail messages with no response. His prices were fair and he did what he said. I am very satisfied!

My tickets for speeding and expired tag were taken care of in less than ten minutes on the phone. He said he would update me on the outcome the day of court and that is what he did. I did not have to go to court and my charge was reduced to a non moving violation of improper equipment. His fee included court cost so there was no extra added money later. One and done. Would definitely recommend

Dean really helped me out! I don't have a great driving history and got a speeding ticket that I kept pushing aside until about a week before my court date. I called Dean who had just got home for the day to be with his family but took the time to take my call and said he would be glad to take care of my ticket. I received an email from him after he appeared for me in court stating that everything went as planned, and will not have any point added to my record. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome and it was less expensive than I was expecting which was the icing on the cake.

Dean Humphrey is really amazing. He reduced my speeding ticket so that it didn’t affect my license or insurance. He made sure that everything would be taken care of without me having to do anything except for pay for his services. His confidence in what he does is so comforting so I wasn’t worried at all. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
