Services
More than 1 in 4 children in the United States have cavities by the time they are 4 years old, sometimes as early as age 1. This disease is known as early childhood caries or tooth decay of the primary (baby) teeth of young children. It occurs when the child's teeth are frequently exposed to sugary liquids-milk (including breast milk), formula, fruit juice, soda and other sweetened liquids for long periods of time.
General and Cosmetic Dentistry can take stained or damaged teeth and transform them into beautiful smiles. From a simple examination and cleaning to a complex procedure such as a full mouth restoration, we are a great choice to enhance the appearance of your smile. Visit our office and find out what treatment is best for you.
A dental implant is a surgical component that interfaces with the bone of the jaw or skull to support a dental prosthesis such as a crown, bridge, or denture. Dental implants are a fixed solution for replacing missing teeth and also provide stability for removable partial or complete dentures. Implants provide excellent support and stability for these dental appliances.
A Complete Denture is made after the teeth have been removed and the gum tissue has healed, usually taking two weeks. During this time the patient will go without teeth. Immediate Dentures are made in advance and immediately placed after the teeth are removed, thus preventing the patient from having to be without teeth during the healing process.
A crown (or cap) is a covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size. A crown protects and strengthens tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations. There are several types of crowns gold, porcelain fused to a metal base, or all porcelain (tooth colored crown).

Kay Dental is amazing. I was referred here by the VA to finish some dental work. I was hesitant at first because my dentist at the VA had been so good. My worries were unfounded. Dr. Kay and his staff were kind professional and understanding. I would go here again and refer friends amd family here as well.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kay's for five years, ever since we moved to Tucson. Unfortunately, I have horrible teeth and prior to moving here, had several implants done. Unfortunately, my lower right implant/bridge consisting of three teeth and two implants sheared off the titanium screws holding the implants in. These were done back East, not by Dr. Kay.
Dr. Kay was out of town when this happened so I scheduled an emergency appointment with another dentist who took one look and said he had never seen anything like it in 25 years of dentistry, didn't have a clue how to get the

I have visited Dr. Kay's practice several times in the last few years. I have found him and his staff to be very caring and careful. I recently had a crown replaced. The whole time he was fixing the decay under the old crown, he made sure I was comfortable and OK with the process. My new crown fits perfectly. I am very happy with Dr. Kay.

My whole family has seen Dr Kay, and we are all very happy with the care. Easy check in; typically called in at time of appointment or within a couple of minutes; staff is friendly, respectful, professional, and welcoming. Dr Kay knows what he is doing and he gives honest, practical opinions and recommendations. Location is great if you live in continental ranch or nearby.

Please don't pay any attention to the star rating. I have not visited this dentist office.
Unfortunately unless you know people who have gone to this business there is no way to know what you are in for. I'm a big fan of YELP. What better way to get insights than to read what others have experienced.
Having had similar experiences to those of "Anthony P." at other medical offices I immediately crossed off Kay Dental from my possible dental provider list.
Thank you Anthony and YELP, for saving me the bother of dealing with rude people.

I'm thankful I went with my instincts and didn't write a review till my second visit to this place. Let me start by saying the only reason this place gets a 3-star review instead of a 5-star review is because of the front desk worker. Dr. Kay himself is wonderful and extremely informative, his dental assistant's are also great! Unfortunately, the older blonde lady at the front desk is rude and extremely short. When I arrived I greeted her with a hello and she gave me a look as if I just ruined her morning by showing up. Then when I was paying over $150 for them to re-cement a crown
