A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.

Examination of diagnostic X-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. I am 60 years old and I had not had my teeth cleaned in 30 years. I made an appointment for scaling I went 2x and the technician was through and gentle. Zero pain! Enter Dr Norwak I was shocked to find that I didn’t have any cavities that could be seen on X-ray! She then explored my teeth and found a small cavity in my lower molar. Now I am afraid. I didn’t go to a dentist for 30 years because I didn’t want to have Novacaine/shot. I made the appointment to get the cavity filled. Dr Norwak came into the waiting room and she knew I was afraid. I followed her back to “the chair” the building

Friendly, Caring, Responisve, Gentle, Kid Friendly. Absolutely the best dental practice I've ever been to! I have a lot of dental issues and have seen a lot of different dentists since childhood. Zionsville Dentistry was the first place to truly take the time to educate me in my options for care in the long term rather than fixing my immediate problem, taking my money, and sending me out the door. They are also all incredibly gentle and make sure you're as comfortable as possible. Another first for me! They are very quick to respond and quick to get you in for an appointment. I personally see Dr
