Texas family law covers a very broad spectrum of case types. When I tell people that I am a "family law attorney", I sometimes can see them thinking, "What does that mean?". Every case is different and the facts of each case greatly drive the result. Texas family law has changed greatly over the past thirty years, with the result that it is now both more predictable and fair.
You have four (4) years after someone dies in Texas as to offer a Will for probate. If you wait more than four (4) years, you cannot offer the Will for probate and you will instead have to work with an attorney to determine what else, if anything, can be done in order to see that the wishes of the person who died are followed.
Criminal defense attorney Janis Alexander Cross is highly experienced in legal matters concerning those with criminal records in Amarillo Texas and the surrounding areas. If you have been successful on deferred adjudication probation, you may be able to control future access to your record through an Order for Non-Disclosure.
If you do not have a Commercial Driver's License ("CDL") You get probation (for 30 to 90 days, depending on the jurisdiction) and if you don't get a ticket during that probationary period, the case against you is DROPPED & the ticket is DISMISSED. If you get a ticket while on probation, you "blow" your probation and the ticket goes on your record.

Do not hire this attorney! Absolute worst representation possible. I worked as a paralegal for 12 years so I know what to expect. She never responded to anything in a timely manner, and missed several deadlines. If my EX wasn't calling me asking me why I wasn't responding, I would not have ever known I was missing deadlines. She had my final decree for 3 weeks, never forwarded it to me, to review and sign, so we missed our final hearing date! She would not take my phone calls and would not communicate with me. I would send her numerous emails and she wouldn't respond. She finally called me when

Just called and the receptionist was very rude. At first she could not hear which is understandable. Then she said she could hear me. Yet...she hung up on me. So I called back. Again the lady could not hear me. After I asked her if I was a bother to her by the sound of her tone. She responded I can hear you. Then I explained how our previous call had played out with her hanging up on me. She then responded in a rude attitude how if she says she can hear me that means she can hear me. So...why did she hang up on me??? I told her she was unprofessional and decided to warn others by making this review
