Dr. Fortenberry is the owner of Madison Dental Group. Having practiced in Madison since opening his office in 1990, Dr. Fortenberry is dedicated to creating warm relationships with his patients while striving to give them the best dental care possible.
Dr. Fortenberry received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Mississippi College in 1986, and he graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1990.Dr. Fortenberry is a believer in staying ahead of the curve in his profession.

Since 1990, Dr. Fortenberry has been providing dental services for children, teens, and adults in Madison and the surrounding areas. Great staff! Dr. Fortenberry and Dr. Rudsenske are awesome! If you're nervous about going to the dentist, they have a tv mounted about you, headphones to tune out what's happening. If you're cold they have seat warmers for you. I turn the tv to the island escape channel. Yes, vacation at the dentist office. My sorority sister even went when she had an emergency, and they took good care of her.

I was seen there today and the service was excellent. The team is very friendly and professional. They also have the lowest prices that I found for root canal in the area. I strongly recommend it. I was very happy with the work they did on my tooth. I was having a really bad pain and they saved my molar. They have high quality tools and equipment.

I needed a new dentist after moving to the area and was referred to Dr. Fortenberry. His clinic was so clean and professional and I felt welcome from the very beginning. My wait time was very short and Dr. Fortenberry was very personable and also thorough and knowledgeable. I am so glad I found a new dentist that I will definitely be going back to.

The while staff is wonderful with children. Thank you for making my 4 year old love going to the dentist. The headphones to watch cartoons while he sat in the chair helped so much. My son really liked the surprise he got for being brave. It’s a token to put in the machine on your way out. He got a ball from it. Thank you for being fast and efficient.
