You are NOT ALONE! We all feel lonely, depressed, anxious and/or angry when our relationships get stuck in unfulfilling patterns. I've been a therapist for over 35 years, married over 35 years and raised 2 (now adult) children. I know how hard it can be to develop connected, resilient, truly joyful relationships.

But I also know that the rewards ARE WORTH IT and sometimes we just need guidance. My approach is caring, gentle, AND honest. My goal is to ensure that you feel known, understood and accepted. I'm trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, which research shows produces improvement in 93% of couples (www.iceeft.com).

I know how hard it can be to get the courage and or motivation to find a therapist you "fit" with. Through my 37 years of marriage, and raising two children, I was in that position more than once. One thing I learned was that not every therapist was a good fit for me or my family. I also learned that when you find the right therapist you will know, and that with support you truly can find greater connection, confidence, and happiness.
I am experienced in couples and family therapy. My particular focus ins on childhood and adult trauma recovery, and helping couples create secure attachments. Below you will more information on my primary treatment meathods. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a well-known humanistic approach to psychotherapy developed in the 1980's.
No insurance is accepted. Therapy receipts are provided, if you would like to submit them for any Out Of Network Benefits you may have. Payment is due at the time of service. I accept checks, cash, or any credit/debit card. In the event you need to cancel an appointment, please give me at least 24 hours to fill your scheduled time.
