Dr. Aluru received her Bachelor in Dental Surgery(B.D.S) from Kevempu University, India (1999)and a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Boston University, Henry M.Goldman School of Dental Medicine( 2004) Dr. Aluru's passion for working with children developed early in life, which led her into a career in dental pediatrics.

I am so happy with the level of care my kids recieved today. The dental assistant was extremely patient with my son who has high anxiety at the dentist. She explained what she was going to do before she did everything. He was not comfortable with the sonic toothbrush so she gave him the option of using a regular toothbrush for the cleaning. Dr. Aluru was also great. She spoke a little quick but other than that, we felt comfortable with her. They do not physically restrain the children at all which is great! I always felt like that caused more mistrust and anxiety for the kids. They really work

Made an appointment over a month ago for my child to go here. Get all the insurance stuff changed and then get to the appointment and they say my child can’t be seen because insurance wasn’t changed over but I received a card with all the info with them on it from his insurance so not sure why it wasn’t changed over or why they waited until i come in to say “oh sorry you’re out of luck”. And this is under the other parents insurance so they couldn’t have waited to talk to someone for an hour to talk to someone with I aura center due to work. It could have all been done ahead of time

The staff at Little Hippos are very nice and friendly , they make the experience feel special for my sons when they come in. My oldest loves the fact he gets a coin at the end to put in the vending machine. Stephanie makes sure we’re comfortable at all times and is always keeping me updated with information on what’s going on !

We've had several failed dental appointments for our 3yr old son who has learning/behavioral disabilities. I went in expecting the worst, but left teary-eyed because of how WELL it went. The dentist and dental assistant were a dream. My son initially wouldn't sit in the "big boy chair", but the lap room put him at ease (which was private and for these types of situations). The calming environment combined with their professional understanding and temperament exceeded my expectations. I'm so thankful we found this dentistry and their staff.

We’ve never had a bad experience. The staff and Dentist is great with kids. My daughter is extremely anxious when it comes to the dentist so after 3 failed attempts at teeth cleanings from different dentists we were referred here and have been coming ever since. We are in and out within reasonable time every visit and the one time we had a broken tooth we were able to be seen the next day.

The staff and doctor is always polite and delicate with your children. I rarely have an issue and if there's a insurance problem for example, I was able to set a payment plan. Stephanie was also a great help and very pleasant. Hippo is the one and only pediatric office my 5 and 7 year old has attended and I hope to never need to change to anyone else. Keep up the great customer service!

We had a great experience from the second we walked through the door. The staff is friendly, the doctor explained everything very well and answered all my questions. I also really appreciate that they were able to schedule our appointment very quickly as we were going out of town and needed to take care of dental issues prior. So happy to have a new pediatric dental office for my kiddos.

I had spent so much time researching of a new pediatric dentist after a not so nice experience on our previous one. We decided to transfer our kids to this office after reading all the great reviews online. The Doctor is really good with kids. She listens to our concerns well and made sure that it was noted.
