I came in here on a Saturday at 130 pm and it was absolutely empty. I was a little shocked, but it was great. Service was quick and eventually people started coming in. They give free warm bread with butter, which was really good. We ordered the honey feta cheese and it took me back to Greece - so delicious. I would 100% recommend trying. I had the fish and chips, which were also very good. Everyone else in my group really enjoyed their meals again. Will definitely be returning.

Celebrated my birthday here last night with my husband. We loved the food. The authentic greek salad was amazing! For my entree I ordered the seafood pasta, very good! My husband had the lamb burger with fries, which was very good too. We tried the lamb cubes for appetizer. They were okay. A little salty. Very nice quaint restaurant for a date night or intimate dinner with friends/family. I would give it a 5 star but I just wish they didnt seat other guest next to us on both sides, during this surge in COVID numbers. Especially since, there was plenty of other tables available. It wasn't a

One of the best fine dining restaurants in Washington DC.

I came to Mazi three times in one week for a work conference. Yes, the food here is that good !!

Appetizers: Lamb Cubes in tomato sauce with fennel and cumin. Melt in your mouth lamb chunks in a mild tomato sauce with olives. Served with toasted French bread. This was an amazing appetizer.

Entree: the seafood here rules.

Salmon with Risotto. Great flavor and herb seasoning on the salmon. Tender, flaky salmon with risotto and the most amazing grilled vegetables.

Chicken kabobs. - The chicken here is so tender and they use a lot

We came by for lunch. Service was good and friendly. I had the Greek salad which was fresh and delicious but could have used less dressing. There was about 3 tablespoons in the bottom of the bowl. My husband said the Caesar didn't have enough anchovy flavor. Baked feta with honey was good.

Came here for a business lunch. Just had a cesar salad with shrimp and sparkling water. Nothing fancy, but they understood my gluten free needs and provided excellent service.

The place itself is well decorated. I will need to come back for a full review.

WARNING **the Lamb Chops are serious**

Have heard a bunch of noise about the steak and lamb chops but had yet to try this place. Walked in a loved how intimate the place was. I started with the pork and had the Lamb chops the wife did the chilean sea bass. First off I don't do seafood but that Chilean sea bass is out of this world! May be the best thing I've ever smelled that started in sea water LOL and the taste one word "AMAZING".

Now to those Lamb Chops tender tasty finished off with carrots. I went to a food induced happy place. Definitely a must have again

We will

Let's just say hi f you're impressed with a restaurant and bar you go back right? So I'm in D.C. for 2 nights and I was so impressed I'm back for a second night versus trying any other restaurant in D.C.

Ask Yani (bartender) to make you an Old Fashion. I drink Bourbon often and Old Fashions as well. P

We stopped by at this restaurant on a Saturday night after making a reservation a few days before, and were sat immediately we arrived. The inside is so cute and there is limited seating, so definitely make a reservation if you can. We started with the crispy cauliflower and crispy pork belly appetizers, which were very well seasoned. I also placed an order of their seasonal cocktail which tasted fruity and refreshing.

My main dish was the salmon, which can with basmati rice and some vegetables. The salmon was very well cooked and well complemented by the rice and a light sauce that was also

I had lunch with a friend at this restaurant and it was amazing. The inside is beautiful but they have outdoor seating. I ordered the crispy Brussels Sprouts and the Greek Authentica salad with Shrimp. It was delicious. The service was attentive, quick and worth every penny. I'll definitely be back.

I'm in DC for a few days and had dinner with my son here on Saturday night. I didn't make a reservation and didn't think to. We were just hungry and it was near the hotel. Tip - make a reservation!

We ended up sitting at the bar, which I didn't mind. The bartender was friendly and attentive, considering my son is still a teen. I had the seafood pasta, he had the chicken alfredo. He gives it a 4.75. Mine was cooked perfect al dente. I prefer red sauce but their's only came in white sauce. Long story short, mine was DELISH. Seafood was cooked perfectly, and not too

After a hot day of sightseeing around DC my family was looking forward a place to eat close to the White House. We found Mazi and after looking at the menu decided to give it a try. Upon arrival we were promptly seated and everyone found something they liked, including our 12 & 14 YO.
We ordered the Sea Bass, Sirloin, Burger, and Chicken Kabobs. The highlight though were the desserts, we ordered one of everything...you should too. The owner/manager and waiter were great and even ran my sons phone out to him after he of course left it in the booth.
If you're looking for a nice meal give

We had a great meal here- friendly staff, efficient service, diligent drink refills, and great fresh food. We started with the lamb stew, Greek salad, honey feta and fried feta. Everything was great- standouts were the lamb and salad. They also gave us extra bread- great for dipping in everything. For entree we got the lamb burger and chicken kebab. Loved the lamb burger (served with fries) and couldn't get over how juicy and flavorful the chicken was. Chicken is served with veggies on a bed of arugula- it is definitely more than enough food. Would absolutely return- wonderful option near

Just arrived in DC for work and this was close by to the hotel I am staying at and had excellent reviews. Took a little while before someone came and helped out but I was having an early dinner (6:30). Really cute place, I asked for a table and was seated in a cute table. I ordered the Mediterranean Sea bass with sautéed spinach and rice. Cooked perfectly, the last time I had sea bass I had a really bad experience so this made up for it! It was soft and flaky. Perfect dish!!

Very cute ambiance inside this small restaurant- really loved all the wine bottles covering the walls. I ordered the burger for dinner- with cheese, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and mayo- it was just average. I asked for the burger to be medium and it was overbooked (well-done). I also ask for cheese, which was not on it when they brought my meal from the kitchen, and a cold piece was eventually brought out to me to throw on top of the burger.

For dessert I ordered the lava cake with ice cream- which again, was just average. Not your normal texture for lava cake, and minimal chocolate inside. I

Solid 4 stars.

Visited during COVID, and had a reservation for 7 pm. Seemed like the restaurant was just opening as we were the first ones inside.

Food: We ordered the pork belly, chicken kabobs, and the Chilean sea bass. The pork belly!? Delicious. It had a surprising light citrusy garnish/drizzle. It was cooked to perfection - very good, and I can't wait to eat it again! The chicken kabobs were also tasty - cooked and seasoned well. I was not a fan of the Chilean sea bass, nor the rice accompaniment. While the sea bass was cooked well, it lacked seasoning to me and the rice was a bit
