SHAWN the owner of Gary's automotive is hands down the worst business man I've ever came across. We walked in to speak with him about hiring an employee that just got fired from another shop for stealing tools and truck parts and he said that's not my issue i don't care what he stole there. Then his new thief of employee walks out and openly admits to stealing truck axles and tools from his last job and Shawn again said its not my issue. I honestly pray you don't have a vehicle there. Your vehicle is NOT safe. Shawn hired this guy knowing he was stealing from his last company and doesn't care.

Called a week out to make sure he could get my Cadillac Alternator and battery cables replaced was told to bring it in the following week either Monday or Tuesday. Called the Friday to make sure we were still all set was told Tuesday would be best. Car was delivered Tuesday morning and sat for 3 days until I went in and got my keys and was told they haven’t gotten to it. Horrible company exactly what is wrong with mom and pops business’s in Abilene no accountability.

I was calling local mechanics in Abilene to get estimates on how much it would be for them to replace the spark plugs in my SUV. The first place I thought of was Gary's Automotive, because the company I work for has used Gary's many times over the years to work on company vehicles.
An employee named Sean answered the phone and I told him about my situation and asked first, if they did spark plug work on vehicles, and second, if he could give me an idea of the cost to do it. All I can say is WOW! We were stuck on the side of the road just one day before a holiday. Not only did they find the part, but they got the fuel pump replaced in one day! We are traveling through town, so we appreciate their prompt response so we can be back on the road. They treated us fair and had excellent customer service. Highly recommend!!
