Steve Oberman, the managing partner of Oberman & Rice, was the first lawyer in Tennessee to be certified as a DUI Defense Specialist by the National College for DUI Defense. Sara Compher-Rice, a named partner in the law firm, focuses her practice on those accused of DUI, as well as other alcohol, drug and/or driving related charges.
Since graduating from the University of Tennessee Law School in 1980, Mr. Oberman has established himself nationally as an authority on the intricacies of DUI law. Early in his practice, Mr. Oberman developed an extensive knowledge of defending those charged with the crime of driving under the influence.
Steve Oberman has been practicing law, primarily as a DUI lawyer in Tennessee, since 1980. He began his practice with W. Zane Daniel, John J. Duncan Jr., and Glen Claiborne under the firm name of Daniel, Duncan & Claiborne. Due to Mr. Duncan being elected Knox County Criminal Court Judge, and later our U.S. Congressman, Zane Daniel and Steve Oberman began their own firm in 1986, Daniel and Oberman.

When searching on-line for representation, I located Steve Oberman. Steve Oberman is the consummate professional. He handled a personal injury case for me recently and the result far exceeded my expectations.
