Outstanding food, a bit expensive, absolutely horrible service. One of the best quality Chinese restaurants in Spokane but absolutely the slowest service in town. No matter what they quote you on time for takeout orders, you will wait AT LEAST twice as long. This isn't my first, second or third time I have waited 45 minutes when told 20. It is EVERY SINGLE TIME. Sitting in the lobby waiting yet again and going on 50 minutes when quoted 20 to 25 minutes. Time to find a better alternative.

Ordered sushi & chow mein. Both were cold and the and the fish tasted literally rotten. Also asked for spicy mayo on the side and they gave us a bowl of mayo drenched in wasabi that burned my mouth. Found hair in the noodles so obviously we didn’t eat them and told our server with short blonde hair and with a nasty attitude went and gossiped to other staff. Didn’t offer to make us a new plate just asked the length of the hair which is laughable. She gave us our checks and still added the noodles with hair where we literally had to ARGUE to get her to take a $17 dish that was cold anyway. Service

They have a fusion menu of Asian cuisine.
I can't speak for other items on the menu but sushi rolls are subpar: small with a very thinly cut fish on top for a not a cheap price.

This is my second time here. So far I feel comfortable. The food is ok and comforting, I had chow mein and spicy tuna roll. Had to add spicy to my noodles it was really lacking flavor. Presentation was good. Spicy tuna wasn't very spicy. But I like it medium hot. All in all I'll come back to try more dishes. Good date night place

My family and I have gotten take out from chef lus multiple time and the food has been okay but this last time we ordered take out we were VERY dissatisfied. I call the restaurant and they told me I should have dined in because when there food sits out it not good and she pretty much told me to bad. So I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and wanted to talk to a manager the following day. When I spoke with the manager she told me I need to bring the food in and I told her it was so awful we through it all away. And basically the manager told me the same thing to bad deal with it. My

My wife and I have been talking about this place for quite sometime and tonight we finally visited. We dined in and arrived around 6:30. The restaurant was about halfway full and we were seated right away. The restaurant had an open floor plan and average decorations. Nothing too fancy but a nice feel.
We ordered the crunchy sushi roll, hot garlic chicken, and Mongolian beef. The waitress let us know that there would be be about a 10-15 minute wait on the sushi roll. We said that was okay. About 3 minutes after we ordered, the waitress came back and apologized for how long it was taking and she

Food was tasty and service was pretty good. I just wish I was greeted when I walk in faster. The sushi chef should exclaim "welcome! How are you doing!" I got the feeling that he was annoyed that I arrived.
Server and Boss lady were nice and accommodating.

I just got my food, and when I got home to eat it was by far the worst meal I have ever eating from there. In my chow mein I had three pieces of beef and the noodles tasted like used spaghetti. Also the Pad Thai tasted like water down ketchup with a cup full of sand thrown in. Needless to say I will not be eating there again and I can't give no stars so one and $65 plus tip.

Worst customer service ever! Ordered take out over the phone based off of the website menu. After picking it up we realized they completely messed the order up, what we received was cold and completely in edible- looked like cat food. When we called them to see if they could give us what we actually ordered they said no, it’s not their fault there is nothing they could do. We asked for a refund because we didn’t receive what we wanted and the employee laughed and said no, we can’t give you a refund. Not only is this terrible customer service but it is also dishonest. Avoid this restaurant

Ok so the customer service has been great and the restaurant is nice. That being said, the food sucks. The menu needs to be completely redone. My husband and I have tried this place dozens of times because there is almost no Chinese food on the south hill but we keep being disappointed. He loves meat and I stick to fish and tofu but everything we've tried hasn't been good. Also, all of the tofu dishes come with meat. Why offer tofu if you don't have vegetarian options. I have special ordered things without the meat and it's flavorless and odd. The pad Thai is absolutely disgusting

Excellent Service. The Salmon Nigiri tasted "fishy", so I go to other restaurants fir Sushi, but the cooked dishes are fresh and taste good.

Yum!! I had to drive 6 hours from Seattle to Spokane today and my mom and I arrived HUNGRY! We quickly placed our order for 7:30 (approx when arrival would be) and showed up around 7:20, food ready to go!

We got the crunchy roll (my fave), edamame, garlic beef (wow the mushrooms in this are amazing), chow mein with chicken and shrimp - all super delicious and ready to take back to our hotel to devour. If I ever come back to Spokane, I'll be hitting this place up again!!

Actually really love this place! Their food is always really tasty and comes out quick and hot. Their egg flower soup and cashew chicken is actually one of my favorites in spokane. The inside is not much to see and not fancy by any means but the food speaks for it all. Will always enjoy coming back to Chef Lu's!

Ordered it through Uber, it showed up almost inedible. The chicken was just plain mush, the sushi rolls tasted like they had sat out all day. I was pretty mortified based on the reviews and high prices. Skip this place. I'd rather eat at Panda Express.

This is the 2nd time we have ordered to-go . First time the food was not good . But we thought maybe it was just a bad day. Yesterday ordered orange chicken. It was inedible and we threw both orders away. We just got a huge pile of terrible breaded fried chicken strips . Orange sauce on the side. Best part was the rice. We are done ordering here. Back to The Mustard seed I guess.

General Tso Chicken was delicious and a huge serving! Not too spicy, just right.
I also got a sushi roll, but can't remember the name of it. It was okay, not bad at all, I have nothing bad to say about it. It just isn't my favorite sushi spot.

My wife received a gift card awhile back. We waited until their opened dine in.
The place is pretty colorful, and clean. The tables are spaced out to comply with Covid rules.
The staff are friendly and greeted us with a smile.
The food was great!

I'm not from here and there wasn't really a lot of options when it came to finding an asian restaurant but Chef Lu's Asian Bistro really delivered on taste and presentation even though we did take out. Super easy and fast process. Just call and your order should be ready in 30 min or less.

If you want to know what to order, check it out below:

- Pad Thai - Thai style rice noodles with chicken, egg, bean sprouts & ground peanuts. You can also order it with tofu, pork and beef or for an extra $2 you can have it with shrimp. Full of flavor. A lot of noodles and bean sprouts. Would

I love sushi, so freaking much. I am such a fan of all the authentic places we have here in Spokane that are working really hard to provide fresh ingredients and experience to us sushi lovers.

I think that the more genuine the business owners are, the more that resonates with me as a customer. The fact that they have so many menu items is great for those who want a variety of things, like...me.

I love nigiri, I always always order seared salmon nigiri and they did a great job with this. My husband had the red snapper, the yellowtail and another one and enjoyed those too. He also had the beef

Do you notice how all the negative reviews for this great place all come without any photos? Or, are a whiny rant about a delivery experience--again, without photos? Some people just need a double-shot of shut the heck up. These nice people don't deserve your delusional opinions. And judging by a packed house for a late lunch on a Friday (and, a mass majority of stellar reviews since they opened), your pissant comments aren't affecting them at all. Viva, Chef Lu's...

Oh, and here are my pics by the way... ;)
